Elaborate Layouts Are Created For A Day Or Night Session, Directly On To The Floor. UNITRACK Is Engineered To Withstand This Repeated Set-Up And Breakdown. The Unijoiner Design, Not Only Joins The Rail & Trackbed Sections Together, But Also Contains The Electrical Connection. In The Unlikely Event One Is Damaged, The Unijoiner Can Be Very Easily Replaced. Temporary Or Permanent Layout... Whilst Ideal For Temporary Set-Ups, UNITRACK Is An Excellent Choice For Permanent Layouts As It Can Be Pinned Or Glued In Place. UNITRACK Has Many Advantages Over Normal Track Due To Its Unique Design With Unijoiners & Pre-Ballasted Base, This Is Highlighted When It Comes To The Points, Which Are Fully Ballasted Around The Frog & Blades (The Motors Are Hidden In To The Track Base). Anyone Who Has Tried To Ballast A Normal Point With Motor Attached, Will Understand This. The UNITRACK Range Includes Single & Double Track In Both Ground & Viaduct Sections, Which Allows The Creation Of Multi-Level Track Plans Without Permanent Construction Being Required. Electrical Connection. We Recommend Using The Kato Controller, Which Makes For Simple Plug & Play Power & Point Connection (But Any Other Make With An Out Put Of 0-12V DC To Power The Track). You Can Then Use DC Extension Leads And 3-Way Extension Block To Reach Remote Areas Of A Layout. Additional Track Sections Can Be Powered With Either Feeder Track Or Terminal Unijoiners In Place Of The Regular Unijoiners. All Points Are Operated By The Point Switch.
