2 Part Test driving The reference in the section is adjusted to Routes where special conditions apply New route: mmaboda - Karlskrona central (route taken out of service in December 2011, the Train Plan change) to be converted to the traffic system H. The track will be taken back into service in June Additional information about the routes: Vetlanda - Åseda (maintenance has ceased) Karpalund - Hanaskog (decision regarding termination of maintenance is expected shortly) Munkedal - Lysekil (maintenance has ceased) Skövde - Tibro (maintenance has ceased) The section has been supplemented with a new route along with additional information about four other routes Routes with traffic restrictions during certain times of the year Additional information about the routes: Kil - Torsby (rundown facility, in the spring substantial problems with, among other things, thawing of frozen soil/frost heaving may make that part of the route untrafficable from a safety point of view) Mellerud - Bengtsfors (rundown facility; poor macadam ballast reinforcement work which may cause the track to the move with changes in track gauge as a result, as well as problems with some movable bridges which are in poor condition) Bofors - Strömtorp (rundown facility; poor macadam ballast reinforcement work over the summer means a risk for the occurrence of heat distortion) Additional information about the three routes: The route Västeraspby - Långsele is no longer available. 2(10)

3 Track for vehicle noise measurement (new section) The Swedish Transport Administration's tracks for vehicle noise measurement, see Section , are located between Landskrona and Kävlinge, at the section of the railway line 938 km The line has been equipped with rail dampers to meet the requirements for attenuation. See section (values for vehicle noise measurement) Train formation services (last paragraph) New wording: For timetable 2012 the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) predicts that train formation services may be required in the depot area at Malmö central, Hagalund and Hallsberg's marshalling yard. qual to Hallsberg's marshalling yards with other depot areas in the paragraph Transport conditions and transport permits for special loads. Transport permits (fourth paragraph) New wording: The processing time is two (2) working days. For shipments that require extraordinary measures, 12 days apply (protection, after-inspection, measures in the facility, etc.). Transport permits are handled weekdays, Monday-Friday The time when transport permits are processed has been adjusted from weekdays, Monday-Thursday at 7.00 to and Friday 7.00 to to weekdays, Monday - Friday at Services for test driving Measurement values for vehicle noise measurement (new section) The service means that Trafikverket provides measurements for dampening and surface smoothness, measured in accordance with TSI Noise (Rolling stock) in accordance with the Commission's Decision 2006/66/C on the stretch of line used to measure noise, see section This service does not include putting the track in order in order to fulfil requirements of reference tracks; only the measurement values which indicate the current status of the track. 3(10)

4 The measurement values can be used for the approval of vehicles with The Swedish Transport Agency (Transportstyrelsen), when the new version of TSI Noise (Rolling stock), with draft number 08/57/ST07, comes into force. According to this version of the TSI, measurements are permitted also on lines that do not fulfil the requirements of the reference track. For the approval of vehicles in accordance with TSI Noise (Rolling stock), with draft number 08/57/ST07, the measurement values of surface smoothness and attenuation have been measured within a 3 to 12- month period, before or after the date on which the noise measurements are carried out. Trafikverket reaches agreement, in dialogue with the customer and with consideration to the planned date for noise measurement, on the delivery of valid measurement values in accordance with TSI Noise (Rolling stock). It's OK to work with the form in xcel ; however, the form MUST be saved in xcel format (it must not even be converted to xcel format afterwards). This is because the form will be processed in Trafikverket's system. Clarify the format requirements for the handling of the application form. 1.2 The concepts of Applicant and Train Owner (New section) What is meant by the Applicant in this document and on the excel form is the company or organization that is filing an application; while Train Owner is the company or organization that intends to conclude a TRAV agreement (Track Access Agreement) on what is being applied for.
