7 Preliminary results EV owner survey Norway Analysis of raw data, subject to change EVs model year drive about km/year 75% use it daily, another 15% 3-5 days a week Prior to buying an EV the work trip (for those 78% that drive the vehicle to work everyday or 3-5 days/week) was done with: 11% used public transport 2% walked/cycled 80% with ordinary car 2,5% with another EV Increased car ownership? 28% bought EV as an addition to existing household vehicles 3% did not own a car before We do not know if they would have bought an extra car anyway Some households are all electric, some have more than one EV Page 7

8 Preliminary results EV owner survey Norway Analysis of raw data, subject to change Media was the dominant source of information leading to purchase, followed by friends and family 88% was determined to buy an EV prior to going to the dealer Brand loyalty was not important 82% thinks that the dealer gave correct information about the car 87% would buy an EV again 0,6% would not buy an EV again Page 8

Of these: 69% (of the 78%) pass a toll road on the way to work (benefitting from the exemption from road tolls) 48% (of the 78%) can use a bus lane on the way to work, benefitting from bus lane access 40% of these say they save less than 10 minutes time/day 21% save minutes 15% saves minutes 16% saves more than 30 minutes Page 9
