28 Transit Safety Programs (TSP) goal is to increase safe ridership through informative and site specific safety programs. The department addresses rail safety through a comprehensive, ongoing program that focuses on the three E s of rail safety Engineering, Education and Enforcement. TSP conducts safety presentations for interested community organizations including, but not limited to schools, senior centers, recreation centers, and homeowners associations. Transit Safety Programs is committed to community involvement for the life of the alignment. Community Events For school and community events, TSP can participate by providing a safety resource table with general Metro information, site-specific information and a prize wheel for those who answer safety questions. If you are interested in having TSP at your event, please contact Transit Safety Programs at or transitsafetypgm@metro.net. Senior Riders Club TSP s On the Move Riders Club offers older adults the opportunity to take part in a peer-to-peer training program.
