Maag s S Series twin screw pumps, multi-phase pumps and triple screw pumps are positive displacement, rotary pumps that offer outstanding performance in the most demanding applications. Characterized by their smooth, constant flow across a wide range of viscosities, temperatures and pressures, Maag S Series pumps successfully address the difficult pumping challenges found in the Oil & Gas, Process and Marine industries. Maag Industrial Pumps will initially offer four (4) distinct lines, or series, of screw pumps, each having multiple model configurations and sizes. 1. WTG Series Twin Screw Pumps 2. 2 1) WTG Series - Twin Screw Pumps With Timing Gears Maag S Series (WTG) Twin Screw Pumps are double-suction, self-priming twin screw pumps with external bearings and a timing gear transmission. The axial pressure on the S Series (WTG) Twin Screw Pumps hydraulic components is balanced automatically with no metal contact between the hydraulic parts. The pumps are ideal for transferring non-lubricating or moderately abrasive fluids. 3 Page 3 of 11 2) NTG Series Non-timing-gear Twin Screw Non-timing gear NTG Twin Screw Pumps are non-timing gear screw pumps in a single-suction design. The axial hydraulic force that is placed on the components is compensated by a balance piston. There is no metal contact between the screws and casing. The NTG series pumps are especially suitable for pumping fluids with lubricating properties and high viscosities, e.g. bitumen and residual oil, at medium or high temperatures. Series Capacity Diff. 4 3) Multi-phase - Twin Screw Pumps Designed for medium- to low-pressure applications, the Maag Multi-phase Twin Screw Pumps are robust, reliable pumps specifically designed for applications found in the Oil & Gas industry. Maag Multi-phase pumps are commonly applied in oilfields that have liquid and gas phase streams. 5 4) Triple Screw Pumps Triple screw pumps adopt a cycloid profile of meshing principals at the screw profile. The power spindle is driven by a motor and the idler spindles are driven by fluid hydraulic power in an intermeshing screw groove. In some cases, PSG Oberglatt personnel may request additional information regarding the use of the Maag S Series products ordered or information regarding the customer and his/her intended use of the products. In general, Maag warrants that pumps, accessories and parts manufactured or supplied by it to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from date of installation or eighteen (18) months from date of manufacture, whichever comes first. Failure due to normal wear, misapplication or abuse is, of course, excluded from this warranty.
