1 Pakelo Non Tox Specific lubricants for food industries Why Pakelo Non Tox? Industries are continuously asked to improve their working environments. New and more severe ambient regulations have caused the adaptation of structures and systems within the industry in particular food industry. As a consequence of this a lubricant must extend their ordinary requirements beyond simple functionality. The Research and Developments of such products with low toxicity is becoming a property of the product itself. Since the very moment mineral based lubricants have been included Environmental Protection Agency in the List of Chemical Products harmful to health, food industries have started to have 1) some lubrication problem 2) some difficulty in evaluating alternative lubricants. Knowing that these Regulations would have pushed several industries towards alternative products, PAKELO has promptly studied and developed a range of products named PAKELO NON TOX approved NSF 1 according to the Classification H1*, formulated with raw materials that can satisfy any lubrication problem in the food industry. The series PAKELO NON TOX is formulated with special fully synthetic base stocks that make them be distinguished from ordinary lubricants thanks to the nature and properties of their base stocks. These products are characterized by: blend of best synthetic base stocks colorless, odorless, and tasteless 2. Low toxicity (numerous tests made on raw materials of PAKELO NON TOX have highlighted their low toxicity ); superior life under severe working conditions too (superior oil drain intervals compared to traditional mineral oil products; evaluating case by case); very High Viscosity Index natural to the base stocks; complete miscibility/compatibilty with mineral oil base stocks. Studied for central systems or directly with a brush spray oiling, or with ordinary pump lubricator. NON TOX CHAIN OILS can reach temperatures up to +200 C. Compressor oil [1220] PAKELO Non Tox Oil Compressor Pakelo NON TOX OIL COMPRESSOR is a fully synthetic lubricant studied specifically for the lubrication of air compressors used for the production, preparation, packing, processing, handling and packaging of food products. The exception resistance to oxidation and to thermal shocks, guarantees a superior working life. 5 Greases Gear greases [1340] PAKELO Non Tox Grease 00 PAKELO NON TOX GREASE 00 is a semi-fluid grease formulated with lithium complex soaps, with exceptional EP (Extreme Pressure) Characteristics and anti-wear. Provides excellent pumpability at low temperatures, excellent resistance to washing away, superior protection against rust and corrosion. Recommended for all types of enclosed gear boxes. Bearings, slides, couplings and for the lubrication of central pressure systems, also with the presence of mist, high temperature and heavy loads.. Contains special biocides that avoid the proliferation of bacterial colonies.. Grease for bearings [1320] PAKELO Non Tox Grease 1/2 PAKELO NON TOX GREASE ½ is a soft grease with aluminum complex soap, EP and anti-wear additives, suitable for the lubrication of roller bearings and thrust bearings, gaskets, joints, couplings, sliding and drive surfaces, etc. Poly-urea greases [1330] PAKELO Non Tox Grease PLR PAKELO NON TOX GREASE PLR is a white ivory colored inodorous, tasteless water repellent high performance grease, formulated with synthetic polyurea complex thickeners and white oils for food applications, with special corrosion inhibitors. 6 Greases for high temperatures [1350] PAKELO Non Tox Grease Low-Temp PAKELO NON TOX GREASE LOW-TEMP is a white colored (consistency NLGI 1), formulated with special synthetic base stocks and selected additives that enable to be used at temperatures up to -51 C. The product provides excellent resistance to water, excellent pumpability, nonstainable characteristics, excellent performance at very low temperatures and at high temperatures up to +160 C; strongly contrasts corrosion and rust; and acts against bacteria formation. Suitable for the lubrication of roller bearings and thrust bearings, gaskets, joints, couplings, sliding and drive surfaces, etc. Vaseline grease [0125] PAKELO Vaselba B PAKELO VASELBA B, is a vaseline grease, stringy, water repellent, white colored, complies with requirements set out by Italian FARMACOPEA (FUI). Provides high stability to oxidation and excellent mechanical resistance. 7 Coolants USP monopropylenic glycols [ ] PAKELO Non Tox Freeze N PAKELO NON TOX FREEZE N is a coolant, bacteria controlled with inhibited monopropylenic glycol base that satisfies the requirements of USP (United States Pharmacopoeia), and makes suitable for industrial systems when dealing with food products. PAKELO NON TOX FREEZE N is formulated with ingredients classified by the American Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 21CFR184. This product can be used for all those applications where there is the risk of accidental contact with food and drinks in general. PAKELO NON TOX FREEZE N, thanks to specific and balanced additives, presents excellent anti-oxidative, anti-corrosive, antifoam characteristics. Does not cause swelling to rubber parts and does not deteriorate plastic components of the cooling system. Application: ideal as thermal exchange fluid in the refrigeration systems of food industries in particular and in several other applications.
