Pre-Test Data should record priorr to the start of the sea trial. i.e. Fuel API, Sea Water Temp, acceptable fuel curves. This table contains the measured steady state data from the engines at 2. Test Data predetermined RPM steps. Dataa includes: engine speed, fuel burn, boost, and load factor. This table contains the measured data from the bridge or helm and should be 3. Data includes: vessel information, vessel speed at RPM incriments, wind speed, wi nd direction, sea conditions, etc. Select Type of Sea Trial Note: Based on the engine application and the type of sea trial needed, the commissioning technician should select one of the following forms for the measured engine temperatures and pressures A. OEM Sea Trial B. Complete PAR - Keel Cooled SCAC C. Complete PAR - HEX Cooled SCAC D. Complete PAR - HEX Cooled SWAC E. Diagnostic Sea Trial F. Genset Load Test - C7-C32 G. Genset Load Test C280 This is a sea trial that is normally preformed at the boat OEM using Cat ET. This sea trial is conducted on new vessels to document basic performancee and installation information for vessels. This is not as thorough as a Complete PAR Test and is used to provide basic performancee documentation. This is a comprehensive sea trial on a keel cooled separate circuit aftercooled engine. This sea trial is performed at the OEM or shipyard on new vesselss for first hull of a production run, during any significant change to a production run, custom boat and/or re-powers. This is a comprehensive sea trial on a Heat exchanger cooled, separate circuit aftercooled engine. This sea trial is performed at the OEM or shipyard on new vessels for first hull of a production run, during any significant change to a production run, custom boat and/ /or re-powers. This is a comprehensive sea trial on a Heat exchanger cooled, sea water aftercooled engine. This sea trial is performed at the OEM or shipyard on new vessels for first hull of a production run, during any significant change to a production run, custom boat and/ /or re-powers. This is a test that will be performed on performance related complaints or after performance related component changes. The technician should select the parameters required to record to diagnose and/or validate the performance issue. This is a load step test proceduree to validate the performance of a C7-C32 genset installation. This test can be performed dockside with a load bank.
