6 Stations and Modules With KRAL Premium Products ATEX 94/9/EC. In order to comply with ATEX, it is important that no flammable fluids leak from the pumps. KRAL pumps with magnetic coupling are hermetically sealed. In cases where magnetic couplings are unsuitable since the electric motor would be too large due to the need to compensate for performance losses of the coupling, KRAL offers slip-ring seals with quench as shaft seals. In ignition firing, an oil burner heats up the coal to incandescence. Once that stage is reached, the process continues on its own and the oil burner can be turned off. Poor quality coal requires permanent auxiliary firing.
