2 SMOKE PATH The flame inversion furnace and the effect of the refractory irradiating of the frontal door allows an extremely high degree of pulverization of the combustion particles. The use of retarders (turbolators), inserted in the smoke pipes, permits to reduce the temperature of the output burnt gasses to the minimum level allowed by the smoke flue. finishing the hydraulics connections in the heating plant. FREE FURNACE The MK boiler furnace is not fixed to the back plate and as consequence it has a free mechanics structure; therefore the furnace can expand itself without causing dangerous stresses on the pipe plates. COMPLETELY ADJUSTABLE DOOR The door is completely adjustable with refractory coating; it is necessary that the door assures a perfect gas tight, because the combustion chamber is lightly in pressure, so each minimum crack could cause a leakage of high temperature gas. For this reason the structure of the MK boiler s door is well-studied in order to allow all the possible adjustments: it means that the door can be risen, pulled down, inclined and opened on the right as well as on the left side, thanks to the interchange ability of the supports INSULATION The complete insulation is executed with the greatest accuracy in order to avoid any possible passive heat leakages. It is made of 80 thick glass fibre insulation pad, directly placed in contact with the body boiler. COMPLETE JACKET The casing include also the back side of the boiler MK, so the jacket covers also the smoke chamber and the back plate: it has been projected to be installed after

Three effective turns of smoke Low temperature ( 35 C, DS model) Low nitrogen oxide emissions (NO X ) TRIPLOMAT MODELS N (with standard pipe) water temperature on the return 50 C DS (with double layer pipe) Working through water low temperature on return 35 C possibility of working ON OFF AN EASY INSTALLATION The smokes circuit of the TRIPLOMAT is located over the combustion chamber. This solution allows to reduce the maximum width (756 for 582 of capacity) of boiler body making easier its introduction into the thermal power station. Moreover in the TRIPLOMAT boiler all the smokes pipes are involved in the circulation of the combustion gas, so a fair distribution of the thermal load is guaranteed, in contrast with what happen in the thermal exchange surfaces of the boilers having ring-surfaces or surface under the combustion chamber.

14 REDUCED AZOTE OXIDE IN FUNCTION OF THE EFFECTIVE THREE SMOKE TURNS The TRIPLOMAT smokes circuit happens on three real ways, because the combustion gas inversion does not occur in the same chamber, in order to join the smokes pipes and from here the smokes-chimney chamber. The TRIPLOMAT boiler allows a remarkable reduction of the NO X emission and polluting dust in the atmosphere. The TRIPLOMAT boiler has been approved by EMPA (Sweden) and so it respects the restrictive limits imposed by the European regulations that will adopted in the near future. The boiler TRIPLOMAT can work by means of modulating burners, or multi- layers or with re-circle of part of waste gas. Using burners with re-circle it is possible to reduce the gas combustion temperature and, consequently, a further reduction of NO X. WATER CIRCUIT The water circuit follows a guided run. The water turn and return are placed in the superior side to keep away the cold water from the hearth; inside there is a ring header which delivers the return water towards the inferior side of the boiler and the anterior plate. COMPLETE ADJUSTABLE DOOR The door is characterized by a complete registration with a ceramic fibre covering; it is necessary that the door guarantees a perfect gas seal since the combustion chamber get a light pressure, hence every little crack could cause a gas loss at high temperature. For this reason the door boiler is particularly studied to all the registrations: it can be risen, pulled down, bent, opened on the right or on the left thanks to the interchangeable rests. The door is internally covered with ceramic fibre and a special intake insulation jet. INSULATION AND COMPLETE CASING The complete insulation is particularly cared in order to avoid warmth loss ; it is obtained by using 80 thick mineral wool panel. The mantle is extended as far as the back side, consequently interesting the smoke chamber and the posterior plate. The mantle is conceived in such a way as to be set up after the finishing of the hydraulics junction.

15 SLIDING TEMPERATURE ARCA suggests the own range of pressured boilers endowed with a special double-layer pipe and an inox steel flue gas flow breaker (DS version) to allow the boiler working on sliding temperature (taking advantage of the complete extinguishments boiler in the moment of no heating use). The optimal employment of such kind of boilers is fulfilled by means of modulating gas or gas oil burner. DRY SMOKES CHAMBER TRIPLOMAT boiler is endowed with a dry smokes chamber. A second plate separates the smokes chamber from the back wet plate and it is placed on the smokes pipes; in this way there the smokes cannot lap the wet plate avoiding the condensation phenomena. Hence the smokes chamber is dry, it does not corrode and it is easy to clean (picture C). WATER CIRCUIT The water circuit follows a guided run. The water turn and return are placed in the superior side to keep away the cold water from the hearth; inside there is a ring header which delivers the return water towards the inferior side of the boiler and the anterior plate. DOUBLE LAYER PIPE It is coon knowledge that the condensation process gets dangerous effects. For this reason ARCA has formulated a double layer pipe for the smokes run, throughout the experiences acquired in own laboratories. This pipe is obtained by pressing and it guarantees an easy functioning as a maximum reliability of working in a long time. The anti condensation function is realised by means of the temperature differential between the interior pipe (in contact with the combustion gas) and the exterior one (wet with water). Moreover the air space allows the maintenance of the temperature differential developing the anti condensation function. The thermal bridge (or pressing area) allows a proportioned transmission of the thermal energy.
