6 Big-bore hoses Big-bore hoses are made of high-quality, synthetic special-rubber compounds. They are manufactured on state-of-the-art, electronically controlled large-hose units. The various production technologies guarantee an absolutely uniform product quality. An overriding quality assurance system to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 monitors the production process throughout. These hoses are used wherever high quality and long service life are per se prerequisites for the efficient transport of all types of products. Typical application possibilities can be found particularly in different material handling processes, cooling water applications, floating processes, dredge, etc. We manufacture these hoses to the customer s specific requirements, with inside diameters of 80 mm to > 1200 mm. 7 Fittings Socket ends and flange dimensions The dimensions of the expanded socket ends are manufactured to your specifications. Flange dimensions are matched to the required connections. Connections Big-bore hoses can be manufactured in the requisite dimensions and with the desired connection to satisfy operating conditions of all kinds. 8 Long lengths big-bore hoses For various applications to convey industrial water, oil, fuel, compressed air, chemicals, and bulk materials under. The speciality is that almost unlimited single hose lengths can be supplied without intermediate coupling connection up to 40 bar working in mm ID range. 9 CONTI ConcreteStar / ConcreteStar Textile This hose is suitable for the use with hydraulic conveying pumps at highest rates and is used for conveying abrasiv construction material. With its extruded smooth bore tube, made of highly abrasion resistant special compound and the high tension steel reinforcement, the hose is designed to meet the strongest requirements at construction site. On request we deliver different coupling types, e.g. Victaulic, Heavy Duty. Also available in special version for mining applications. 10 CONTI MineStar - High injection hose This hose is mainly applied in the mining and building industry. It is a special type of hose which greatly increases its outer diameter when loaded by internal. Fitted into a long bore it expands and seales the hole, thus water or other liquids can be injected through the bore to the required place. The hose closes the way of backflow. Constant for sealing is provided by a ball-valve fitted at the end of the hose. The hoses are fitted at the two ends with different couplings. One coupling is fitted with a ball-valve to ensure -drop. The feed pipe is connected to the other end.
