4 4/0 Bosch Rexroth AG Hydraulics DRHD; ZDRHD RE 6576/04.09 Function, section he valve type DRHD is a direct operated 3-way pressure reducing valve with pressure limitation of the secondary circuit and integrated pressure monitoring. It is used to reduce the system pressure and is optionally available with internal or external pressure monitoring, as well as with shuttle valve plate for monitoring from channel A or B. he pressure reducing valve basically comprises of the housing (), the pressure reducing spool (), the pressure monitoring spool (3), two compression springs (4 and 5) as well as an adjustment element (6). he sandwich plate version can be converted into a version for subplate mounting by means of a diversion plate (7) P to A. In the initial position the valve is open. Hydraulic fluid flows from channel P to channel P. Via the pilot line (8), the pressure in channel P is at the same time applied to the pressure reducing spool () and the pressure monitoring spool (3) opposite the compression springs (4 and 5). When the pressure in channel P rises above the value set at the adjustment element (6), the pressure reducing spool () moves against the compression spring (4) into the control position and thereby keeps the set pressure in channel P constant. he pressure reduction results from pressure being applied to the annular area of the pressure reducing spool () from channel P. he secondary pressure which is to be monitored also acts via the pilot line (8) on the front face of the pressure monitoring spool (3) (common pressure chamber for spools () and (3). At a defined pressure which lies below the secondary pressure, the switch (9) is thus actuated. It is, for example, possible to pass on a control signal for positive clamping and to initiate a subsequent process as soon as the required minimum pressure of a clamping unit (tripping pressure for switch) is reached. If the secondary pressure at the clamping unit falls below the minimum pressure, the electric switch changes back. he minimum adjustable monitoring or secondary pressure can be limited using the screw (0). he switching differential between the required minimum clamping pressure and the working pressure for an operating point is set at the spindle () in the factory. When the pressure in channel P continues to increase due to external forces acting on the actuator, the pressure reducing spool () moves further against the compression spring (4). hus, channel P is, via control edge () at the pressure reducing spool () and housing (), connected with the port.
