13 Oil hange Systems Reverso oil change systems ensure spill-free oil draining and refilling for engines, transmissions, and generators. Figure : Place drain hose from the oil change system unit into your waste bucket. 2. Figure : Open manifold drain valve - you ll have the choice to draw from the engine, transmission, or Gen-Set (unit comes with labels to indicate source). Only open one valve. The unit is not designed to pull from more than one valve at a time. 3. Figure : Move the switch to Drain position to move oil to the waste bucket. Do not leave pump unattended. This could result in running the pump completely dry and/or overfilling and spilling oil. Once flow has stopped, turn the unit off. Repeat process with other valves for additional locations. 4. Remove the hose from the waste bucket; place it in the new oil bucket. 5. 33 Separ Filter Element Replacement Instructions Prior to servicing the filters, ensure that the unit is OFF. Step 1 Shut off the fuel supply valve and isolate unit before servicing the filter. Step 2 Loosen the lid screws evenly Step 3 Remove the lid. Step 4 Take out the spring cassette. Step 5 Lift out filter element by the handle. Replace with new filter element and re-fit the spring cassette. Step 6 Inspect lid gasket. Replace if necessary. Step 7 Fit lid checking for correct positioning. Evenly tighten in the sequence shown. 4 1 Step 8 Open the fuel supply valve, prime fuel system and check for leaks

34 Separ Filter ackflushing Instructions Prior to servicing the filters, ensure that the engine is OFF. ackflushing is for particulate removal only and will not remove sludge once embedded in the filter media. Step 1 Turn the system off and shut off the fuel supply valve. leed Screw Open the bleed screw located at top of filter lid by slightly unscrewing it. This will break the vacuum in the filter allowing water and small particulates to be released from the filter element. Step 2 llow water and dirt to settle into bowl. Large droplets of water and dirt will fall to the bottom of the bowl.
