EXTENDS THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SOLELY TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER OF ANY SUNDANCE 880 SERIES SELF-CONTAINED SPA MANUFACTURED AFTER November 1, 2007 AND INSTALLED FOR RESIDENTIAL USE WITHIN THE UNITED STATES, CANADA OR MEXICO. L I M I T E D 880 Series Warranty 10 Years Spa Shell Sundance Spas, Inc. warrants against water loss due to defects in the spa shell for ten years from the original date of purchase. 7Years Shell surface Sundance Spas, Inc. warrants the interior surface of the spa shell against blistering, cracking, or delaminating for seven years from the original date of purchase. 5Years EQUIPMENT & CONTROLS Sundance Spas, Inc. warrants the spa s electrical equipment components specifically, the pump(s), air blower and control system (except stereo system) against malfunctions due to defects in material and workmanship for five years from the original date of purchase. The titanium coil heater is unconditionally warranted against failure for any reason for five years. 5Years Plumbing Sundance Spas, Inc. warrants factory-installed plumbing against water loss due to defects in workmanship and materials for a period of five years from the original date of purchase. 5Years Sunstrong SYNTHETIC Cabinet Sundance Spas, Inc. warrants The SunStrong synthetic cabinets against defects in workmanship or materials for five years from the original date of purchase. Normal wear and weathering of the finish will occur naturally over time, and are not defects. 5 Years Jets Sundance Spas, Inc. warrants the jets and jet fittings against defects in workmanship or materials for five years from the original date of purchase. 2Years TerraStone cabinet Sundance Spas, Inc. warrants the TerraStone siding against peeling, cracking, wrinkling, blistering, delamination and defects in workmanship or materials for a period of two years from the original 880 date of purchase. Normal wear and weathering of the finish will Series occur naturally over time and are not defects. Warranties for Other Components The fuses, headrests, wireless stereo remote control, cabinet finish, and filters are warranted to be free of defects in workmanship and materials at the time of delivery. All other factory-installed components not mentioned specifically, including, but not limited to the wood frame, diverter valves, all stereo-related components except the wireless remote control (CD player/radio, speakers, wired remote panel, sub-woofer, mechanical speaker-lift devices, stereo access door, power supply, etc.), ozone plumbing, LED lighting systems, filter lids, and mechanical components are warranted against malfunction due to defects in workmanship and materials for two years from the original date of purchase. Performance To obtain service in the event of a defect covered by this Limited Warranty, notify your Sundance dealer or Sundance Spas, Inc. as soon as possible and use all reasonable means to protect the spa from further damage. Upon proof of purchase, Sundance Spas, Inc. or its designated service representative will correct the defect subject to the terms and conditions contained in this Limited Warranty. There will be no charge for parts or labor to repair the defect, although you may be assessed reasonable repairman travel mileage charges. If Sundance Spas, Inc. determines that repair of the covered defect is not feasible, we reserve the right to instead provide a replacement spa equal in value to the original purchase price of the defective spa. In such an event, costs for removal of the defective spa, shipping costs for the replacement spa and delivery and installation of the replacement spa will be the responsibility of the spa owner. The replacement spa warranty will be equal to the balance, if any, remaining on the original spa. Exclusions Spas installed in commercial applications are excluded from any coverage whatsoever. This Limited Warranty is void if Sundance Spas, Inc. or its designated representative determines that the Sundance spa has been subjected to alteration, neglect, misuse or abuse; if any repairs have been attempted by anyone other than Sundance Spas, Inc. or its designated representative; or if failure is cause by accident, acts of God or other causes beyond the control of Sundance Spas, Inc. Neglect, misuse and abuse include any installation, operation or maintenance of the spa other than in accordance with the instructions contained in the owner s manual provided with the spa, including (but not limited to) the failure to maintain proper water chemistry and chemical balance and the use of abrasive or improper cleaners. This Limited Warranty does not provide coverage for the insulating cover, any item attached to, or installed on, the spa after the date of manufacture, or for gaining access to any component for repair or replacement. The spa owner accepts liability for repair work performed by anyone other than a designated Sundance Spas, Inc. representative. Limitations This Limited Warranty takes the place of all other warranties, express or implied, in fact or at law, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. All warranty service must be performed by Sundance Spas, Inc. or its designated representative using authorized Sundance parts. No agent, dealer, distributor, service company or other party is authorized to change, modify or extend the terms of this Limited Warranty in any manner whatsoever. Disclaimers Sundance Spas, Inc. and its representatives shall not be liable for any injury, loss, cost or other damage, whether incidental or consequential, arising out of any defect covered by this Limited Warranty, including, without limitation, loss of use of the spa and cost for removal of defective product, even if Sundance Spas, Inc. has been advised of the possibility of such damage.
