With the exception of AW6010, all are multifunctional in terms of providing excellent antiwear properties in combination with other property enhancing functions as shown in the chart that follows. 4 Enhancing the Antiwear Performance of Extreme Pressure Agents NALUBE AW6010 in Combination with NALUBE EP5218 NALUBE AW 6000 Series Ashless Antiwear Additives Sulfurized EP agents typically provide very good extreme pressure properties and moderate antiwear properties when used alone. One of the unique performance characteristics of an amine phosphate, such as NALUBE AW6010, is the ability to improve the antiwear performance of well selected sulfurized extreme pressure agents. As depicted below, the addition of 2.0% NALUBE AW6010, reduces the scar diameter from 0.81 mm to 0.51 mm. However, additional NALUBE AW6010 to approximately 6% is required to return the weld load back to the starting level of >300 kgf.
