And it all helps give the Fit a look that, for a compact car, is pretty tough. The side mirrors conveniently fold inward, giving you a few extra centimeters. 3 ULTRA-VERSATILE The Fit is ultra-versatile with features that drivers love. Whether you are carrying passengers, cargo or both, the Fit has four unique configuration modes so you can get just about anyone or anything whenever you need it to go. UTILITY MODE Fold the Magic Seat down and you ve got 1492 liters of cargo space. 1 It s amazing what fits in there. LONG MODE If you fold down the left side of the rear seat and fold back the front passenger seat, you can haul gear up to 2.3 meters in length. 1 TALL MODE Sometimes you need a little extra cargo height. Folding up the Magic Seat gives you nearly 1.2 meters of room, top to bottom. 1 REFRESH MODE * Turn your Fit into a mobile relaxation space. It has a more nimble chassis, a wider stance, and ingenious Earth Dreams Technology to give you plenty of zip and help you go longer between fill-ups. 5 EARTH DREAMS CVT The continuously variable transmission (CVT) allows the engine to operate at optimal RPM levels and helps maximize efficiency. 5 AIRBAGS * (SRS) Standard frontal airbags are designed to supplement the seat belts to help reduce the likelihood of head and upper body injuries in frontal crashes. The Fit Sport adds front side and side curtain airbags which help provide protection for both the front and outboard rear occupants on the side of impact. 6 * Airbags inflated for display purposes. ACE BODY STRUCTURE The next-generation Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body structure is a Honda exclusive design that utilizes a network of connected structural elements to distribute frontal crash energy more evenly throughout the front of the vehicle. This helps reduce the force transferred to the cabin and evenly disperse the forces transferred to other vehicles involved. VEHICLE STABILITY ASSIST (VSA) During an understeer or oversteer condition, VSA 7 brake individual wheels and/or reduce engine power to help restore your intended course. PADDLE SHIFTERS Race-inspired paddle shifters give you more control and make your drive that much more fun on the Fit Sport. G-SHIFT DESIGN G-Shift works with the continuously variable transmission (CVT) and delivers power to your Fit s wheels more efficiently than ever.
