Full white LED lights ensure the closest resemblance to day light and provide a unique and distinctive character. The intelligent system can also adapt the beam distribution depending on the traffic situation. The left and right headlight beams are controlled independently enabling light to be channelled around or away from other vehicles. Enhanced safety due to improved road visibility Fully autonomous system so you can relax and focus on the road ahead The system works at various speeds and light conditions LOUDSPEAKER SYSTEM HARMAN/ KARDON. The sound engineers at harman/kardon work with us from an early stage of our model development. This results in a harman/kardon Logic 7 Surround Sound system that is customised for each BMW model. The system for the BMW X6 includes a tailored combination of mid-range speakers, woofers, tweeters and amplifiers that deliver perfect threedimensional sound. Since it was first introduced in 2004, our system has continually evolved and now offers a full-colour Head-up Display to project key driving information directly into the driver s line of sight. Aviation technology in your BMW Displays current speed, navigation guidance, music and telephone listings, as well as information from the onboard computer (image also shows optional Speed-limit information) The height, brightness and angle of the display can be adjusted in the vehicle Settings Provides a clear 360 view around your BMW. Additional cameras underneath the exterior side mirrors and between the kidney grille augment a birds-eye view in the Control Display, so that you can see exactly what is happening all around you. Furthermore, Side-view enables you to clearly see if it is safe to pull out of tight junctions or exits where the view would otherwise be obscured from the driver s position. See page 14 See page 14

The BMW Connected App learns your mobility routines, reads your calendar and knows when you need to leave, providing customers with a personal experience that is integrated into their everyday life. The App will allow customers to fully unleash the capabilities of BMW s innovative technologies intuitively through your smartphone. The BMW ConnectedDrive Services & Apps are on hand to make sure you have more time for the important things in life. Various innovations by BMW make things more convenient for you every day whenever you want. Your personal mobility assistant. In touch with your world. Learned destinations BMW Connected learns your most frequently travelled routes and provides them as learned destinations for future suggestions. If destinations are repeatedly visited, they are automatically listed at the usual time. Real Time Traffic Information (RTTI) collects current traffic information about motorways, main and country roads and the most important urban routes. It relays information about delays and dangers almost instantly and suggests the best alternative routes.1, 4 Amazon Echo BMW Connected Skill now available for the Amazon Echo. Lock your BMW by simply asking, check the status of your car or when to leave for your next meeting without lifting a finger. Remote Services enables customers to use a smartphone to locate where their BMW is parked, to lock and unlock the car remotely and much more.1, 2, 3 Concierges Services connects the driver to a BMW Call Centre agent who acts as their personal assistant at the touch of a button. The agent can locate a particular restaurant, for example, and send the address directly to the BMW s navigation system.1, 4 BMW Emergency Call automatically establishes a voice connection with the local emergency services without the use of a mobile phone. It transmits information about the vehicle s current location and can be triggered manually in case other road users require help.2 Estimated time of arrival Never be late again with detailed updates of your regular routes and alternative options so you can manage your journey and avoid delays. Door to door guidance Get detailed walking directions from your parking spot to your destination. A map with a location pin also shows where you last parked once you re ready to head back to your car. Time to leave A notification on your Apple iphone, compatible Android phone, your Apple Watch or Samsung Gear S3 watch will recommend a time to leave in order to arrive on time. Selected smartphone content can be displayed and operated via the user interface of the vehicle.1, 4, 5, 6 With Online Entertainment you have direct and unlimited access to millions of songs without the need for a mobile or MP3 device in the vehicle. Online Entertainment is a Music on Demand function that uses the built-in vehicle SIM.1, 7 WiFi hotspot preparation enables connection of mobile devices to the internet via the built-in vehicle SIM. Its use is subject to cost, data plans can be purchased via the mobile network operator when connected to the vehicle.9, 10 BMW Connected+ provides a more extensive level of integration of the BMW Connected App in your BMW. BMW Emergency Call (6AC) is available to customers in United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Italy, San Marino, Vatican, France, Monaco, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Ireland, Spain, Andorra, Portugal, Sweden, Norway, Czech Republic, Poland, Turkey and Russia TeleServices (6AE), Concierge service (6AN), Remote Services (6AP) and BMW Online (6AK) can be accessed on any mobile communication network in Europe. When used abroad, the range and characteristics of the service may vary from the range and characteristics described above and may vary from country to country. Real Time Traffic Information (6AM) is available in United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, Republic of Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Sweden and Norway. Online Entertainment (6FV) is available for use in United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland. Deactivation The customer may have the BMW ConnectedDrive Services TeleServices (6AE) and BMW Emergency Call (6AC) deactivated at any time at an authorised BMW Centre, a regional BMW branch or an authorised BMW workshop. Deactivation of this Service will also deactivate the SIM card installed in the vehicle. This results in the Emergency Call in the vehicle also not functioning. The other Services can also be deactivated by the customer (from August 2014) via the BMW ConnectedDrive Customer Portal ( My BMW ConnectedDrive ).
