2 Polestar For T5 and T6 AWD (not for T8) Experience the Polestar effect With more than 20 years racing experience, Polestar is at the forefront when it comes to performance optimization. What we learn from motorsport, we take into the development of new products. The goal is always the same - to offer all Volvo owners an even greater driving experience. Faster throttle response Throttle response has been calibrated to respond more quickly to driver commands - something that gives higher precision and better feel. Faster gear changes The automatic gearbox changes gears more quickly to both improve acceleration and to better respond to the driver's commands, e.g. downshifts before overtaking. Better gear precision and gear hold The gears have also been calibrated to exploit the engine's improved midrange performance. The gearbox also avoids changes when cornering at high g-forces (where possible) for better stability. Faster gear and engine response The engine and gearbox have been calibrated to respond more quickly when the driver releases the accelerator. This makes the car more balanced and predictable when cornering for example. Increased engine performance We have concentrated the power where it is needed most - in the midrange; perfect for passing on a highway. 3 Protective plate Protects the engine, oil pan and transmission from impacts when driving in poor conditions, for example on bumpy or potholed roads. Fully covering aluminum plate that also prevents impacts from loose stones. The protective plate has undergone several tests to ensure durability in the event of more severe knocks and has been used by the Swedish police, without any reported problems. 5 Floor mats Plastic Floor mats for the passenger compartment floor, including a tunnel mat. The mats are made of soft and flexible plastic, with a feeling of rubber. They have raised edges all around, and give effective protection for the car s interior against wet and dirt. The material is rugged and designed in a pattern with soft edges and radii. The driver s mat has a comfortable textile foot plate that protects the shoes from wear. Both the mats color and shape are matched to make them seem integrated with the car s interior. The mats are easy to install and seal tight against the floor. 7 Décor frame Front A unique and exclusive accessory that enhances the dynamic look of the front. "Decor frame, front" has several chrome finished surfaces and unique painted grille pattern, to perfectly match the car's other styling elements. 8 Running board Integrated with illumination This running board differs from the running board that is included in the exterior styling kits. It can be used as a standalone feature, or in combination with the skid plate kit. An exclusive and stylish running board that enhances the luxurious appearance of the car. The running boards will simplify getting in and out of the car and when loading the roof. The running boards have LED illumination strips on the outer edge that both indicate where to put the foot and give the car a cool and high-tech appearance. Light coordinated with interior light logic1. To reduce the risk to slip on the top surface, rubber inserts are integrated in the metal part. The running boards are mainly made of strong aluminum to achieve high strength and lowest possible weight and will withstand a weight of 300 kg. 15 Dirt Cover Fully covering A practical protector for the load compartment that covers the floor and side walls of the load compartment plus the rear of the rear seats. Made from durable, dirt-resistant vinyl. Gives very effective and fully covering protection of the load compartment when carrying dirty loads. The protection has an integrated dirt cover that can be folded down over the bumper. It prevents clothing from becoming dirty and protects the bumper when loading and unloading. The backrest part of the protection can be divided in two places via zips, so that the rear backrests can be folded independently of each other. The protector also has different practical pockets on the sides, a net pocket and a pocket with zip. The load compartment protector is easy to use and is simple to secure and remove. 16 Luggage cover A stylish, retractable load compartment cover that conceals luggage in the load compartment. The cargo compartment cover is housed in a cassette positioned on the back of the rear seats. 17 Cargo net Steel A practical protective grille that prevents loads or pets from being thrown forward into the passenger compartment in the event of heavy braking or collision. The grille is simple to install and remove in the prepared fixation points. It cannot be raised up to the roof, and must therefore be removed from the car when not needed. 19 Cargo Divider Steel The longitudinal divider enables you to separate the load compartment and so have two load compartments in one. Installed together with the protective steel grille, the divider allows for either two pets or a combination of a pet on one side and items such as luggage on the other. The divider is fully tested and is designed so as not to penetrate the passenger compartment in the event of collision. 20 Dog Gate Left & Right The dog gate is a very practical accessory for dog owners, keeping the dog both safe and secure while travelling. It also helps and prevents the dog from jumping out from the car when the tailgate is opened. One or two dog compartments can be created in combination with the protective grille and load compartment divider, with a gate mounted on the right or left side or on both sides. The gate is very easy to open, close and remove from the car. 22 Child seat padded upholstery for cars with integrated booster seat Padded upholstery for cars equipped with integrated booster cushion. 24 Tow bar Trailer hitch A tow hitch especially designed for the North American market. With the simple removal of a pin, the ball holder is very easy to remove to enable mounting of hitch-mounted accessories. The tow hitch consists of three main components: Crossmember, ball holder and a ball with a diameter of 2". The vehicle bodywork is prepared for installation. To provide the best protection from corrosion the tow bar has undergone multi-layer corrosion treatment. The tow ball is zinc-nickel coated. 31 Extra Key with remote control Remote control The all-new Volvo XC90 has a completely new and fresh Scandinavian-design remote control. The wide upper and lower surfaces are clean, without any buttons just a large Volvo-symbol on the upper side. Buttons in aluminum finish are discreetly integrated on the sides for locking and unlocking the doors and one for the tailgate on one side and a button for the panic alarm on the other side. At the upper end is a specially designed key fob holder. 32 Lockable bolt Lockable wheel bolt kit Lockable wheel bolts specially developed for Volvo Cars, which gives improved safety. The lock pattern is located against the middle on the lockable bolts and is therefore difficult to reach with a screwdriver, for example. The top of the lockable bolt rotates and is therefore very difficult to loosen without the right wrench. A solid connection between wrench and bolt facilitates installation and removal, and in principle eliminates the risk of crooked tighten, which results in a damaged wrench. The bolts have very good rust protection. The design is like a standard bolt but different enough to deter any thieves. Volvo chromed lug bolts are developed to match Volvo's aluminum wheel rims.
