D5 The D5 2.4 litre, turbocharged, in-line, 5 cylinder, common rail diesel engine delivers very low fuel consumption and CO2 emissions with excellent performance producing 185 bhp and 400 Nm torque. This advanced design combined with third-generation electronic common rail fuel injection, variable blade turbocharger and a diesel particulate filter, makes it one of the cleanest and most advanced diesel engines available on the market. A 2.4D version with 163 bhp is also available. AWD WITH INSTANT TRACTION The electronically controlled AWD (All Wheel Drive) system with Instant Traction automatically distributes drive between the front and rear wheels within a fraction of a second as conditions demand.
