VSM HAC DBC vehicle stability management (vsm) The system controls brake force, engine torque and steering torque to provide improved vehicle stability when simultaneously braking and cornering especially on wet, slippery and rough road surfaces. hill start assist control (hac) HAC prevents the vehicle from rolling backwards when starting on a steep hill.
