GENERL The following procedures are designed to avoid excessive FT noise over the populated areas of the town of Varna. eviations are permitted only for safety reasons RWY USGE RRIVLS RWY 27 will be used for landing at daytime and nighttime only in cases when: - the tail wind component prevents the crew to use RWY 09 for landing; - the controller clears the take-off due to saturated traffic; - or in cases stated in para EXEPTIONS below. EPRTURES RWY 09 is used for take-offs at daytime and nighttime only in cases when: - the tail wind component prevents the crew to use RWY 27 for take-off; - the controller clears the take-off due to saturated traffic; - or in cases stated in para EXEPTIONS below. EXEPTIONS Exceptions to the above procedures are admitted in the following cases: - Governmental flights; - Search and rescue flights; - mbulance flights; - Rescue flights at distress; - heck flights of the police. - Emergency landings and landings of FT using the PT as alternate RUN-UP TESTS Engine ground run-ups above idle power shall be carried out only after written application to the irport Operations enter and shall take place only at the FT stands assigned by the irport Operations enter. Engine ground run-ups to idle power or other FT maintenance related run-ups shall be carried out only after coordination with irport Operations enter and only at the assigned FT stands. Engine ground run-ups are forbidden between LT.

LOW VISIILITY PROEURES LVP are in force when RVR is equal or below 550m, but not less than 50m, for departure operations. RWY 27 shall be used for take-off in low visibility conditions. RWY 09 may be used in adverse meteorological conditions (direction and speed of the surface wind). Pilots will be informed when LVP are in force by TIS or RTF. Taxiing of FT in low visibility conditions to RWY 27 is performed on TWY only. ll other TWYs are closed with lighted barriers and are not available. In case of aborted take-off, TWY E shall be used for vacating RWY 27 after obligatory coordination with the control tower. ontroller shall ensure the removal of the lighted barriers for the provision of taxiing on TWY E. Taxiing in low visibility conditions is performed by follow-me car only. The guidance of FT shall start from FT stand and shall stop at the end of the apron prior entering TWY. FT shall be guided on apron maintaining speed of KT and minimum spacing of 98'/30m. On flight crew request, follow-me car assistance may be provided to the holding point. In low visibility conditions, taxiing permission is granted when the previous FT has reported take-off or parking at an apron stand in case of aborted takeoff..4. SURFE MOVEMENT GUINE N ONTROL SYSTEM.4.. GROUN MOVEMENT ny surface movement of FT, vehicles and personnel on the manoeuvring area requires prior permission from Tower. follow-me car/marshaller assistance is mandatory for all landing FT moving on the apron at Varna PT. In case of follow-me car/marshaller delay, the FT should wait at the beginning of the apron..5. PRKING INFORMTION Stand 4 push-back for all FT exceeding wingspan 38'/42m. Stands 5, 4, 5 thru 24 are push-back. Taxi-out of stand 5 by FT larger than code letter and exceeding wingspan 8'/36m RIGHT turn (heading east) only.

STRT-UP, PUSH-K Pilots shall contact Tower for start-up/push-back or towing clearance, and shall provide the following information: - all sign and type of the FT; - FT stand number; - TIS acknowledge. 3. EPRTURE Flight crew should be in contact with the ground handling staff, before requesting push-back clearance. Pilots should only request start-up and/or push-back clearance when imminently ready to do so. Flight crew must ensure the ground handling crew is aware of the push-back direction given in the towing clearance. From sunset to sunrise the pushed-back FT shall display its navigation lights. If this is not possible due to technical reasons, prior coordination with Varna PT Operations enter is required. ross-bleed start procedure is prohibited when a push-back or tow bar is connected to the FT. ross-bleed start procedure is allowed when the push-back and tow bar are disconnected. While performing push-back, the FT is allowed to start up only one engine. Only after the FT is positioned on the apron TWY and the push-back and tow bar are disconnected, the ground assistant gives a signal to crew for start-up of the other engines TXI PROEURES Vacating FT stands by using powerback procedure is prohibited. If this is indispensable, powerback procedure can be applied only after coordination and approval from the irport Operations enter.
