Extreme Heat Test ranging from -40 C to 80 C. Heat Shock Testing during which parts are cooled to -40 C for 16 hours, then heated to 70 C for 5 minutes. Humidity Resistance Test where accessories are subjected to 168 hours at 48 C in % humidity. Accelerated Environmental Cycle Testing comprising a relentless barrage of salt, dirt and dust to simulate real world driving. Neatly stowed under the sills, the side steps automatically deploy as soon as the door is opened, or when activated by the key fob. They stow automatically when the door is closed.
