1 How to determine which TYPE of swirl flap manifold you have/need. In order to determine your manifolds type, you could remove your engine cover or let us know your engine code. Engine code is written either on the back of the cover of your service book or a sticker which is placed around tire well in your luggage compartment. Example engine code: BMK In order to remove your engine cover just pull it up on all four edges (carefully). Underneath you see either a plastic (PA66) or aluminum manifold bridge/connection pipe which starts right after the throttle body and ends on the top of both swirl flap manifolds. If you have already removed both manifolds then you could easily determine which one you need by the green rubber gasket on the top (TYPE A).
