State-of-the-art driver aids let the RLX warn you of vehicles detected in your blind spot, help steer you back into a detected lane, maintain a set following interval and even apply the brakes. These assists are quite simply, a driver s best friend. BLIND SPOT INFORMATION SYSTEM Radar technology on both rear quarter panels constantly monitors blind spot areas. It activates a warning light near the side mirror when a vehicle is detected. If the turn signal is engaged with a vehicle in the blind spot, the light flashes and an audible warning sounds. ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL WITH LOW-SPEED FOLLOW Utilizing a sophisticated radar unit, the available Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow 53 system creates a buffer zone in front of the car. Set the speed, then set the interval you wish to follow the car detected ahead. The RLX will maintain that interval up to and including a full stop. Now you can enjoy cruise control in a broader range of driving environments.

12 PERFORMANCE NOT EVERYONE STICKS TO THE STRAIGHT AND NARROW LANE KEEPING ASSIST SYSTEM Momentarily distracted, you begin to drift out of your lane. It happens to every driver occasionally. The available Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) 59 can sound an audible warning and help steer you back into a detected lane.

14 PERFORMANCE THE TRUE MARK OF LEADERSHIP IS USING POWER WISELY The RLX engine is paired with a perfectly executed 6-speed Sequential SportShift automatic transmission. Highly intuitive and adaptive, it s the versatile V-6 s ideal life partner. The RLX Sport Hybrid SH-AWD adds three powerful electric motors with the front unit housing a new, motor-integrated 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Two modes are available to fit your driving mood. Drive mode emphasizes fuel efficiency, with smooth, lower rpm gear changes. In Sport mode, the transmission up-shifts at higher revs, thereby increasing acceleration and your heart rate. Racinginspired paddle shifters encourage you to explore all the available horsepower. On the freeway at cruising speed, the 3.5L engine easily propels the RLX using just three cylinders.
