3 Our passion runs deep and our quality shines through. The Haulmark Edge Series sports commercial grade features our competition either can t or refuses to match. The truth is more than skin deep. The results are proven on the road everyday. Structural Front Corners The transitions from the front wall to the side walls (i.e., front corners) is critical when engineering a solid superstructure. Haulmark features full-length W rail front cornerposts. Solid steel from top to bottom adds rigidity and support. Competition: Thin scrap metal bent to form front radius corners weak design with no solid structure from top to bottom. Extra Stout A-Frame esign The Edge s 3-piece A-frame is made from 2 x 6 tubular steel with a 1/4 wall twice as thick as most competitors who use a thinner 1/8 wall tube. Also, our center tube extends 48 into the chassis and is anchored to a crossmember almost 3X longer than our competition. Competition: Thin 1/8 tube. Center tube extends only 18 into chassis offering little if any additional support. Fully Boxed Tube Main Rails Haulmark uses tubular steel main rails running the full length of the trailer chassis. Why? Because tubular steel is recommended over I-Beam for torsional loads twisting that is caused by uneven surfaces like off-road applications. Other mfg s typically double-up the weaker I-Beam only over the axles. Also note the full-height crossmembers on 16 centers. Competition: ouble I-Beam main rails (often skip welded) extending over only a portion of the overall trailer length. 2-Piece Truck Body Top Extrusion The Edge Series features a heavy-duty 2-Piece truck body top extrusion. More than just eye candy, the recessed step design adds strength and provides a flat ledge that extends over the sidewall sill minimizing leaks. The 2-Piece design essentially seals the roof material to the top extrusion for a more secure and watertight roof attachment. Competition: Mostly decorative flat top trim with leak prone seam. Rear Ramp oor Ramp oor features a 14 ga. 1 x 2 steel tube frame 33% thicker than 1 x 1 1 /2 (or smaller) tube found on most competition. Five (5) full length steel tubes for added reinforcement & rigidity. Heavy- uty hinges feature grease zerks for easy maintenance. Competition: Smaller, thinner and fewer steel tubes can lead to ramp bowing & sagging. Reinforced Front Cap The front cap of a racing trailer may well be its most distinguishing feature. Behind the Edge s striking stainless steel (or polished aluminum*) front cap is a horizontal steel support running the full width of the trailer adds crucial bracing for a more dimensionally stable front cap/wall. Competition: More thin scrap metal offers little in the way of support minimal structure from side to side. Tires/Wheels (PRO Series only) The Edge Pro Series sports brand name Goodyear radial tires paired with contemporary and stylish 6-Spoke Viper Aluminum Wheels. Chrome center cap & lug nuts included. Competition: Off brand tires with lackluster dated rims. More to consider... Wiring: Are grommets used to protect wiring no jagged burn holes? Is wiring securely routed to avoid pinch points & chafing? Insulation: Is ceiling fully insulated? Fit & Finish: No sharp edges, excess caulk or careless workmanship? Material Thickness: Is the Stoneguard real ATP (.045) or thinner Starbright (.025)? Frame Opening: Are Roof Vents and Windows framed in steel not wood?
