2 Introduction Econ knife gate valves are available in several types for various specific applications for which other valves are unsuitable. Examples are severe applications in the paper industry or applications for the processing of powder, pulp, (abattoir) waste or contaminated water. The standard range described below features a cast iron and stainless steel uni-directional construction with various actuation, gland packing and sealing/seat options. To give an impression of the range of products, we have also included a number of other options in this section.
