Radial Run-Out Gauge #33173 Radial run-out is an out of round condition in which the radius of the wheel or tire is not consistent from the wheel center to any point on the rim or the tread. Tire and wheel radial run-out are often factors in troubleshooting ride and handling and in maintaining correct wheel balancing to reduce vibration. 5 Race Style Adjustable Upper Control Arms These fully adjustable, rugged arms are recommended for circle track, road racing and drag applications. They allow the user to adjust the arm length and offset to attain the ultimate suspension geometry required to reach the winner's circle. Each arm can be adjusted up to 2" in length and all components are interchangeable and may also be ordered separately - see page 5. SPC also offers arms for Muscle Cars. Street Rods, Corvettes and show applications - see our Muscle Car (page 6) section for more! Follow the steps below to determine the correct control arm needed for your chassis. Step Number 1: Measure Cross Shaft Bolt Hole Spacing From Center-To-Center SPC Performance offers these cross shafts including grease fittings with bolt hole spacings of: 5" 6" (Standard Spacing) - Available in Steel or Aluminum 6 1/2" (1st Gen 'F' Body Camaro / Nova- 'A' Body Chevelle, El Camino, GTO, Olds 442) 6-15/16" Metric Stubs ('G' Body Chevelle, Grand National, Malibu Grand Prix, Monte Carlo, Cutlass Supreme) 7-3/4" 2nd Gen 'F' Body ( Camaro/Firebird) My Cross Shaft Spacing Is: Step Number 2: Measure Length of Control Arm Measure from the middle of the cross shaft to the center of the ball joint. Steel Adjusting Sleeve lengths are available in 3-3/4", 5", 6", 8", and 9". Also available in black anodized aluminum in 4", 5" and 6" lengths.
