2 The London Casket Company The London Casket Company was established in 1988 as a result of increasing demand for American-style caskets. Serving the funeral industry for over 22 years, we hold an excellent reputation for quality and value. This brochure outlines the full range of caskets and coffins available through The London Casket Company. Our selection includes 21 adult and two infant caskets of both wooden and metal composition. We are also proud to offer premium Italian-made hardwood coffins. Understanding the vital importance of choosing the right casket or coffin, we invite funeral directors and the public to visit our South London showroom, where our entire range can be viewed - please speak with your funeral director, who will make the necessary arrangements. Orders throughout England and Wales are delivered by our own team of drivers and are dispatched within 48 hours of receiving your request. (For orders in Scotland and Ireland we entrust our caskets to a reputable courier company, to ensure safe, long-distance delivery). Each model is quality-checked by our highly experienced staff before leaving our warehouse. Our exclusive range of caskets and coffins is only available through your chosen funeral director. 4 HARDWOOD COLLECTION Our Hardwood Collection is comprised of only the finest grade woods. Elegant Ash, Cherry, Mahogany, Maple, Oak and Poplar woods are buffed and polished to enhance the natural grain and give each casket a silk-smooth finish. 14 METAL COLLECTION Our metal caskets are all hermetically sealing, making them particularly suitable for international air travel. These caskets are water tested to detect any possible leaks and are then subjected to internal pressure tests, ensuring each one is air and water tight. Our top-ofthe-range caskets are manufactured from 48oz bronze, 32oz bronze and 32oz solid copper. Two further gauges of steel are available - 18GA and 20GA. 11 Marquis 48oz solid bronze casket.
