This true self-draining deck quickly removes excess water from the floor area which may occur when caught in heavy seas or while hosing down the deck. The aluminium deck is carpeted with marine grade quality flooring making it a great non slip surface that is comfortable from the sun s heat. For peace of mind, the hull is foam filled and an underfloor bilge pump is fitted as a standard feature. Designed by Formosa Marine for the V2 Hulls, this new aluminium Bowroller has been engineered to suit manual deployment and/or drum winches. It is fully welded to the nose sheet and also welded to the 32mm grab rails for extra strength and a superior design. The Bowroller protrudes sufficiently to allow self-gravity release. PLATE BOAT CONSTRUCTION FULLY WELDED SIDE DECKS The longitudinal stringers and underfloor lock cell frame are welded directly to the bottom sheets. Extra build quality and design features will ensure every Formosa Marine hull has the rigidity to withstand open water conditions and provide many years of trouble free boating. The side decks and gunwales on a Formosa Marine hull are fully welded and not stitched, offering greater rigidity and strength. The welded side decks are easy to clean and give better paint longevity. You will notice on a Formosa the welding is not sanded smooth and bogged, keeping the full strength you expect with a fully welded plate boat. REVERSE CHINE HULL HEAVY DUTY DIVE LADDER The 120mm wide reverse chine combined with a wide beam and the COUNTERBALANCE water ballast hull makes this Formosa Marine built hull one of the most stable hulls at rest or in a rolling sea. The reverse chine and the welded on planning strakes provide excellent tracking performance and a smooth ride in choppy conditions. Whether boarding or disembarking, the Formosa Marine designed and manufactured heavy duty aluminium ladder provides total stability underfoot at all times. An internal grab rail, shown to the right of the ladder, is a standard feature on all boats with a transom door.
