2 OPERA / OPTIONS It takes Options and Opera to rise above low-ceiling limitations. The Options / Opera Series from SPI gives any commercial space an energy efficient alternative to direct fluorescent or indirect linear lighting. 3 OPTICAL SYSTEM Inside the Options / Opera housing is a multi-reflective rebound optical system which combines 9, 4, 5 or 55 watt twin-tube fluorescent lamps with an integrally mounted electronic ballast. The result is quiet /cool operation, uniform color, and instant-on with no lamp flicker and low harmonic distortion. The Opera family adds a D fluorescent for dome illumination. Options / Opera s super-wide indirect symmetric distribution is 77% efficient with the main concentration of light at 4 above horizontal for even ceiling illumination. In a typical office space with a 9-6 ceiling height and - fixture spacing, 5 footcandles of high quality indirect lighting can be achieved. The three-lamp Options / Opera pendants conform to the I.E.S. RP4 brightness ratio standards for computer sensitive areas, increasing comfort and employee productivity while also providing a pleasing aesthetic statement in any environment. FORM AND FUNCTION Opera wall sconce, available in over standard powder coat finishes Form and function are united in the contemporary Options or traditional Opera designs. Careful attention was devoted to developing the aesthetic and functional details of the various pendant mounting systems to assure simple field installation. Pendants, pier mounts or wall sconces provide primary illumination in a space. Wall / ceiling mount fixtures provide accent lighting. Both Options and Opera have wall-mounted fixtures which extend no more than 4 from a wall s surface to meet ADA requirements. UNIQUE ACCESSORIES Options can be accessorized with disk, square, cone or dome-shaped acrylic bottom shields which are available in a variety of colors. A medium base, PAR 6, 6 watt volt downlight is also offered to provide direct illumination and an accent pattern on the acrylic. Opera s translucent acrylic dome is available in several faux and hand-painted alabaster finishes. A brass plated trim accessory can be added for a more traditional appeal. The wide range of fixture styles, lampings, finishes and accessories may be composed to complement any type of environment.

8 OPTIONS Variations Standard Options pendant is textured white with three mounting styles from which to choose; chrome plated stems and two variations using stainless steel wires. Bottom acrylic shields in a variety of shapes and colors may be added to customize fixtures. A downlight is also offered to provide an accent pattern on the acrylic. Housings and canopies may be painted in any of our standard colors as well as chrome or brass plated. 19 Technical Standard fixtures include integral electronic HPF fluorescent ballast wired for volt operation (77 volt optional), symmetric indirect reflector with compact fluorescent lamps and white finish (WH) on a or 9 housing. Standard Opera fixtures also include a D fluorescent lamp to illuminate a translucent acrylic bottom dome held secure with a brass finial assembly. All fixtures include white canopy (WH) assembly for mounting to a 4" octagonal box. Optional features include additional standard colors at no extra charge. Standard OPT fixtures include four /8" IPS chrome-plated stems. OPW and OPR fixtures include white power cord and four /6" stainless steel wires with factory crimped ends for simple field installation. Optional features include downlight or acrylic bottom shields. Standard Opera fixtures include one /8 IPS brass-plated stem. OPD includes decorative brass beads and OPS includes a brass-plated stem kit. Optional features include a brass dome trim (OFR).
