2 Welcome to the 2014 Walther USPSA! Thanks for being a part of the match this year! While it takes a lot of dedicated people to put on a match like this, it also takes competitors like yourselves! We appreciate you joining us for what we believe will be one of the best Area 4 matches ever. From our title sponsor, Walther, to our match, stage, and vendor sponsors, we have an outstanding amount of support for this match. We are doing our best to highlight everyone who helps support the shooting sports, so please take the time to thank all of our sponsors when you can. The best way to do that, of course, is to buy their product! Please make every effort to visit the vendor tent. We will be using Practiscore to score the match. You have a summary sheet included in your packet. Please don t lose this sheet, as it is your written record of your performance on each stage. Hand them to the RO s on each stage when you arrive, and they will transcribe your scores from the ipad to your sheet. They ll also be used to maintain your shooting order. Per the USPSA rules, your paper copy supersedes the electronic scores, so if there is a dispute, paper rules. We have an excellent staff who are here to see that you have a safe and enjoyable shooting experience. If you have any questions or issues with a call, please request them to call the Range Master. This is a level III sanctioned match. Scores may be used for classification, if there are enough GM and M shooters in a given division. Scores will be uploaded to USPSA as soon as possible, and will be uploaded as frequently as possible to the Practiscore web page during the match. If you will not be attending the awards and prize event, please give us a note on the card in your packet naming the person who is designated to pick up your prize. The folks at Old Fort Gun Club have gone to great effort to provide a beautiful, clean venue for this match. Please do your part to help with that by putting all your trash in the proper place. This event will be standard rules with the best 4 out of 5 runs being scored for your total score. This stage is NOT a required stage but a chance for each shooter to test drive the fine new firearms offerings from Walther Arms.
