4 Green Labels Our recommendations s a consequence of increasing demands for applications with energy efficient and resourceconserving components, more and more products are provided with Green Labels which also imply radical energy savings. However, information about the total efficiency of the devices to ensure an objective efficiency estimation are rarely found. These labels generally prove the use of energy efficient components, but do not say anything about aerodynamic quality or total efficiency of the product. 5 General Information Take into consideration the use of an EC motor if the fan is often operated at reduced speed Calculate operating costs on your own - do not rely on advertising promises Fan selection Depending on the chosen operation point, the fan efficiency varies widely.
