1 National Rifle League/ VT Winter Postal League 2016 Week 1 Results VTWinterPostalLeague@yahoo.com VTWinter.PostalLeague.com (518) (518) Welcome to Week One of this Year s Vermont Winter Postal League. This season the league has grown to 31 teams, with 260 entrants, from across the country. We are now more of a National League than a regional one. Our overall Team Leader this week was Sutter- Gold, a new club from California, with a They were led by junior shooter Nadine Ahola, who fired a 397 in 4-P. Second place goes to the Plattsburgh Rough Riders, 1577 led by Andrew Visconti, Peter Visconti s 395 in 4-P and Paul Deslierres 395 prone. Third place goes to Sutton-Blue, 1567, led by, Ryan Olivera, 394, 4-P. Fourth Place goes to Barrington NH, Fifth place goes to Albion PA, 1565, our League Champion for the past two years. Sixth place Whitehall who fired a Whitehall is the team with the most league championships. This week s Top shooters are Kelly Bogart of Roslyn with a 397 in prone, Andre Gross 392 of Rochester followed by Ruby Gomes of Niantic with a 389 in standing, and James Cummings of Burlington with a 398 in 4 position. Our Top Junior Shooters are Nadine Ahola of Sutter with a 394 for 4-P, Alex Muzzioli of Niantic and Andrew Visconti of Plattsburgh both with a 389 in prone, and Andre Gross with a 392 in standing. This year the league has five divisions, North, East, South, West and Central. Not only will we have Division standings, but each week we will put together an all star team from each division with a division vs. division challenge. We will also do this with the juniors. At the end of the season we will have a first and second team All-Division Team posted for each Division. The nice part of this league is we have shooters from all skill levels and ages, our oldest All-Star is 93 and youngest JR. All-Star is just 13. We are once again using our web site for reporting scores. Please be patient as we work out any bugs in the system after the first week. For some reason ties on the list were not broken (4-P scores using the standing score, then kneeling and so on, in the case of Prone & Standing, it s the last target). You can go directly to VTWinter.postalLeague.com and see all of the individual results. Please make every effort to have your team scores sent in on time, as soon as they are fired, by Saturday night at midnight at the latest. I plan to send out next week s results Monday morning. You can find the full results at VTWinter.PostalLeague.com and I will send an later this week with some screen shots to help view the results. Each week I will have the Division standings and All-Star stats in my report. On the bottom of this report I cut and pasted the individual results.
