10 What the model can & cannot tell us It is a very rigorous tool for getting good information about traveling routing, but the model should not supplant engineering insight. The model can provide reasonable estimates of impacts such as: Point to point travel times Travel speeds Traffic volumes Turning movements Queues Routing information Level of Service Data out only as good as data in. The model cannot provide THE answer only insight about potential options. 10
