1 RX-Q A new class of street helmet! Simply put; A Corsair-V for the street! Here are just some of the advanced features and benefits the new RX-Q offers the street rider who, simply put, demands more. Designed with the street rider in mind, the complete package was crafted around more traditional upright riding positions, ranging from sport touring, spirited sportbike to just cruising around town. The familiar Arai 2-In/2-Out upper vent set-up, with new vent designs, improves already impressive ventilation performance without the need of more holes. DDL-4 exhaust vent inspired by the Corsair-V AirWing, with a bridged design tuned for the street, provides outstanding ventilation and aero-dynamic stability on the street. More aggressively shaped side exhaust cowls improve lateral stability at street speeds. Wider eye port, providing an additional 5mm at each side, increasing peripheral vision for greater situational awareness of your surrounding environment. A feature taken directly from the Corsair-V. The brow vent airflow is now ducted to flow cool air across the temples, cooling the temporal arteries leading to the brain, then across the ears and out the side cowls. So, by re-purposing existing ventilation, we have directed cooling air over two key temperature regulating areas, greatly improving rider comfort.

2 Foundational feature of all Arai Helmets Found in every Arai helmet is the basic and simple organic shell shape. A helmet is first and foremost an Energy Management System! From ventilation to aerodynamics, shield systems, radio, blue tooth and graphics; everything comes secondary and none should ever interfere with the helmets number one job of Impact Energy Management! Arai looks to the incredibly strong shape of an egg for inspiration, with the smooth uninterrupted spherical shape transferring stress loads more evenly across its entire surface. The absence of exaggerated edges or protrusions in the shell is not a lack of creativity, but a commitment to maintaining the integrity of the shell with impact performance in mind. Additional features of the new RX-Q Larger upper vent tabs make operating these vents, even with thick winter gloves, much easier than before. The newly designed Hyper-Ridge around the bottom of the shell enhances shell strength in addition to providing a larger bottom opening making it much easier to put the helmet on and take off, all without adding weight or increasing the shell size. New seamless, single piece molded rubber bottom trim, adds a clean look and reduces overall helmet weight at the same time. Latest generation SAI shield is 5mm longer on both sides, which in concert with the corresponding 5mm wider eye-port of the helmet provides the rider with an enhanced peripheral field of view, greatly improving situational awareness of the surrounding environment. In concert with the new SAI shield, a new SAI base plate design is used to further improve the shield system. Multi-Density (up to 5 in some models), Single piece EPS liner provides exceptional impact energy management, while keeping the overall size and weight of the helmet to a minimum.

3 Additional features of the new RX-Q Latest Generation Dry Cool liner has a new soft Grey color as well as a new soft texture, making the new RX-Q even more comfortable than some thought possible. Removable/replaceable chinstrap covers. Removable/replaceable neckroll. Newly designed side pads of the removable head liner for increased comfort. Larger surface area redistributes pressure more evenly. Reorientation of the foam densities provides additional comfort and support. The perforated Dry Cool material helps airflow. New cheek pad shape extends down lower, cradling the lower jaw for a more secure feeling, without additional pressure, while at the same time blocking more wind noise. A new combination of comfort foam densities that not only improve facial comfort, but overall helmet comfort as well. Sound absorbing foam in the ear pocket helps reduce noise. Exclusive Emergency Release Tab cheek pad design. A new cheek pad feature provides a removable 5mm layer of foam from the surface of each pad. This allows a wearer to give themselves a bit more room if desired, without the need to purchase an optional cheek pad set. Optional features Available SAI MAX-VISION Anti-Fog shield, with optional Anti-Fog Pin Lock lens. Full eye port Cavity accepts exclusive Pin-Lock lens insert to provide exceptional anti-fogging performance across the entire field of view! Insert lenses available in five color/tint options.
