Also on display is a 1957 Chevy Bel Air which has cut-away body panels, parts, and all mechanical components so that you can visually inspect the inner workings of this American classic. Only after much research and documentation are complete is production begun by our knowledgeable production staff. 2 Manufacturing is what Danchuk does BEST! There s one word that truly separates us from the rest manufacturing. Without our manufacturing plant we d be just another distributor. Over the last four decades, starting with the Danchuk brothers and their Dad, Danchuk Manufacturing has perfected the art of tool, die and parts manufacturing. Today, we use a combination of state of the art and old school machinery to turn out the precision tooling required to produce parts so perfect that they can rarely be distinguished between a reproduction and the original. As a great many of our customers have told us, the easiest way for us to tell your parts from the originals is that yours are better. It is because of our tooling, materials, and craftsmanship that make that statement true. We know that without first class tooling a quality part is near impossible to produce. When we say that we make our tooling from scratch we mean just that. We literally start with nothing but an original part, and begin the design that will eventually become the finished products. The Design The design process is as important as any other step. If the design is off, the tooling and part will surely not be right. We start with a perfect fitted and tested original part and from there we start down the long road to the manufacturing of the tooling. Whether we are making a complex multiple step stamping die tool like the 55 & 56 grills or cutting a precision cavity in a piece of solid steel to produce a Class-A injection mold to make parts like the 57 grille bar, we start the process the same. Once we are sure we have a perfect original we then use state of the art computer programs to digitally draw the part in a three dimensional form. We then use that drawing to design the prints that will be used to make the tooling. Tooling Our tooling facility combines the technology of brand new state of the art machinery and classic old school set-ups. When duplicating a 50 year old part, many times the absolute best way to make a tool is with vintage technology. By combining modern CNC s, Digital Read Out Mills and the like with classic duplicators, lathes, grinders and a whole assortment of other machines and tools we can achieve the end result in our tooling that will allow us to manufacture the best quality American made parts possible. Materials Once the tooling is finished but before the manufacturing can begin we start with the best materials available. We use only top quality steel, virgin zinc for our castings, virgin plastic for our lenses and the best rubber compounds there are. It is because of our high standards for materials that all of our parts are of a superior quality. It is impossible to achieve consistent quality in plating with inferior metals or expect longevity in quality with cheap plastics or rubber. Manufacturing If you think the design and tooling is complex, time consuming and intricate you should follow the birth of a part through the manufacturing process. Just as with our tooling, we have found that the best way to control quality and achieve the perfection in our parts that our customers have come to expect and demand is by keeping as much of the manufacturing in-house as possible. That is why our manufacturing facility includes machinery like 300 ton stamping presses, plastic injection machines, stud welders, a paint booth and all the basics like mills, lathes, drill presses and the like. Manufacturing is the largest department in the company and uses over 15,000 square feet of our 73,000 square foot facility to function efficiently. We recently expanded the design department by a couple of thousand square feet in April of last year.

3 Quality Control Once the parts are done in manufacturing we move them on to our highly trained quality control department where they are tested and inspected for perfection in both fit and appearance. We take the inspection of our parts very seriously and we think it shows in the product that we put out.
