The styles and designs of these six levers correspond with the Couture knobs and roses launched in Q4 of This exquisite collection of high-style levers are some of the most intricately detailed products ever released by Baldwin. Current Launch Details: 6 New Levers coordinated with knobs and roses These new levers are made from solid brass and are manufactured with an investment casting process. Inherent in the investment casting process, each lever will contain unique details and features that reflect the one of a kind nature of cast products. These products will be available in all standard Estate Collection finishes with the exception of our Lifetime finishes. Due to the nature of the investment casting process it s not possible at this time to produce these products in a Lifetime finish. Although these new designs are not paired with any specific handleset or entrance trim, it s easy to put these combinations together with the flexibility of the Baldwin line. 4 faq list couture LEVERS What will be launched in this program? The launch will encompass six new Estate levers. What are the levers made of? All of the new products included in this launch are manufactured from solid cast brass. The investment casting process leaves each lever with unique details that reflect the one of a kind character inherent in cast products. What finishes are available? At this time these six new levers will be available in all Estate finishes with the exception of our Lifetime finishes (003, 055, 056). Due to the complexity of the Lifetime finishing process it is not possible for these levers, manufactured through investment casting, to be completed in these finishes. Can the new designs be distressed? Yes! Each of the new levers are made from a single piece of cast brass, which allows them to be distressed successfully. It should be noted that while distressing is possible, it will minimize the sharpness of the detail of the new levers. Why do you call it the Couture Collection? The designs within this collection are the work of designers Elliot Schneider and Yos Singtoroj, who sought inspiration for the new styles from the worlds of luxury jewelry and clothing. Like other collections bearing the couture moniker, these new levers represent a higher level of detail and design than our customary products. Do the levers work with the standard Estate mechanics and mounting adaptors? Yes! All levers are fully compatible with all Estate spindles, mortise locks, latches and mounting adaptors that are on showroom shelves today. Nothing new is required to allow the new levers to work with any Estate chassis. What are the new SKUs for these products? The new SKUs will follow the new Estate Collection nomenclature: Lxxx = Lever SKU The new SKUs are listed below: L001.xxx.xxx L004.xxx.xxx L002.xxx.xxx L005.xxx.xxx L003.xxx.xxx L006.xxx.xxx The SKUs will be offered in the following configurations: Lever: Lxxx.xxx.MR (pair) Lxxx.xxx.RMR (LMR) (single) When can I place an order?
