2 Weather Station Calibration The accuracy of the Pressure, Temperature and Humidity data you enter into your application has a direct bearing on the accuracy of the end result! Jet-Tech provides you with a unique copyright feature that will calibrate your weather station to an absolute accuracy of 0.299% or better. The simple calibration process enables the software to calculate out any tolerance in mass-produced weather stations. Carb Ice JET-TECH RoK continually monitors the Dew Point Temperature and displays a Carb Ice warning when atmospheric conditions are such that Carburettor Ice may form. This feature is an essential aid for Professional or Amateur carburettor tuner alike. It adds another dimension to understanding fully the performance envelope of the Dell Orto range of carburettors.

3 Jet-Tech RoK With the software un-locked, the user can select between Super, Rok or Junior engines. The software will automatically compensate for the different configurations. When the button is first selected, it provides the default setting for that particular engine/carburettor configuration. The user can then establish their own settings and when the button is pressed again, it will save the new configuration. Different setups can be saved to each button, enabling you to easily recall them. Your choice of NGK or Denso plugs can be selected at the click of a button. Needles With the main screen un-locked, the user can switch between any of the Dellorto K Series of needles used in RoK. Your selected settings are automatically saved and the screen can be locked again to prevent accidental changes. The user can modify the settings to allow for the different characteristics of each needle, relative to their specific engine/carburettor combination.

4 Dell'Orto Carburettor Needle Design All Jet-Tech software includes a unique feature to advise you when the weather conditions, for your carburettor setup, require a needle setting that is beyond the physical limitations of your chosen needle. This enables you to change your carburettor setup to either bring your chosen needle back into range or you may elect to change the needle design for one better suited to the weather conditions and your carburettor setup. Dell'Orto Variable Jet Kit Jet-Tech RoK is the only software available that fully supports the 2009 Dell Orto Variable Jet Kit announced by Vortex in December From the main configuration screen users can select this option if required. If you are using the kit (R.9305) you can select the variable jet and main jet option (200, 220 or 250) from the list. The adjustment is shown in hours and minutes notation. In the example screen shot, a 200 main jet has been selected and a setting in this instance, for the variable jet shows 1:45M. So you would turn the variable jet out 1 3/4 turns. Using this method, you can adjust your main jet to an accuracy of 1/60th turn of the variable jet. Why do you need Jet-Tech RoK when using the variable jet kit? SAVE YOUR ENGINE! The range of the Dell Orto main jets when used with the variable jet is dramatic - from the equivalent of a 140 to a 190 main jet! In some instances a 1/4 turn can mean the difference between a main jet equivalent from 170 to 160. So accuracy is critical in ensuring that you not only maintain peak performance of your engine but also to eliminate the risk of seizing your engine. Only Jet-Tech RoK with this unique and copyright feature can give you the correct settings and parameters to safely configure your carburettor.

5 Dell'Orto Needlejets Any of the Dell Orto needle jets suitable for RoK ( ) can be selected from a drop down list, at the click of a button. Dell'Orto Carburettor Floats And Float Height 3.6g, 4.0g or 5.2g Dell Orto float weights are included and easily selected. In addition to selecting the float weight, float heights (in 1mm increments) can be selected and recorded - from a drop down list. This allows the user to fine tune their carburettor setup, allowing for the effect that float weight and height has on jetting.

6 Jet-Tech Flow-Bench Jet-Tech Flow-Bench is a unique and Copyright feature of all Jet-Tech software and is designed to enable the user to perfectly match Carburettor, Engine, Exhaust and Jet-Tech Software for all racing conditions and states of engine tune. Because the Dell Orto range of carburettors are a mass produced item, no two will Flow air and fuel exactly the same and whilst Jet-Tech RoK will, for 99.9% of carburettors, mirror the performance exactly, it may be that your engine tuner/builder has optimised your engine and/or exhaust pipe in a particular way that requires a different jetting and needle curve to get the maximum power and torque out of your carburettor and engine combination. If this is the case and/or you want to experiment with your carburettor set-up and performance across all air density ranges, then the Copyright features of Flow-Bench are what you have been waiting for. You can now set-up even more accurately how Jet-Tech RoK operates, the jetting answers it gives you for all Air Density values and adjust the rate of change of main jet and needle clip settings required - bearing in mind of course, that for 99.9% of users, it will already be operating exactly how you want it to without any further adjustments being made. Jet-Tech Flow Bench together with all the other unique features of the Jet-Tech Software range give you the opportunity to increase your understanding of carburetion and the effects of different carburettor setups on your engine's performance, thus enabling you to maximise the full potential of your engine/exhaust/carburettor combination. Flow-Bench within Jet-Tech RoK, can also be used to fine tune the Variable Jet settings if you are using the 2009 Dell Orto Variable Jet Kit.
