During the years, the company develops his experience and know how repairing, overhauling and manufacturing new machines to complete used lines in order to offer good quality product at very competitive price. With a strong know how and a clear orientation to the international market, Adda Fer Meccanica has installed many plants all around the world increasing popularity of its brand, now synonymous of quality and reliability. On this basis, the company has started from many years to manufacture new plants dedicated especially to coil processing and tube manufacturing. 5 flying cut-off lines With introduction of FB16 new orbital flying cut off, Adda Fer completes its range of the flying cut-off machines. Adda Fer s flying cut offs are real machine tools completely designed, assembled, tested and putted into service as a result of perfect understanding of technological cycle, Clients needs and also due to feedback constantly received from our numerous Clients from all over the word, for whom we are supplying and installing electro welded tube lines for already more than twenty years. With different suggested solutions coming out from the field of machine use, the production philosophy for our cutting-off machine remains the same and can be stated as follows: to design and build machines without compromises in order to guarantee to the customer maximum reliability, continuity of production, consistently high quality of cut, short time and low cost of toolings and maintenance. It is become possible to achieve these results due to some important choices: - the close cooperation with the blades manufacturer which gives us the possibility to define working parameters in a way, that allows to optimize the blades performances and their service life; - electro welded steel structure is extremely robust for vibrations elimination and it is normalized before the mechanical working in order to guarantee the geometrical tolerances; - control gearboxes of the blades are fully protected, entirely designed and produced in our facilities with the use of rectified hardened gearings in order to ensure maximum accuracy together with high serviceability and prevent them from the plays and vibrations; - carriage and driving heads which are sliding on a linear guides and trolleys for providing the maximum precision and regularity, reducing power required, and avoiding wear with an additional maintenance; - complete automation of the cycle that is managed through a dedicated software; - motors and drives for the cutting heads, only from the best manufacturers, oversized to be able continuously operate even in a very difficult environmental conditions.

6 FB16 The newborn is at the top of the Adda Fer s production line and used for the tube s range beginning from 6 up to 16 ¾ (152.4 to 426 mm) and for all derived profiles. It is result of an innovative project that have brought us the solution of the head with 4 blades in order to ensure cut times adequate to the line speed on large diameters (over 8 ) and the possibility to work with 2 blades on the smaller sizes. The main advantages of this system are: use of reduced diameter TCT blades with a high rigidity; very robust construction for a precise and vibration-free cut; possibility to continue the production even in case of blade breakage, using two coaxial blades; great simplification, reduction and unification of the components which allows to minimize the needs for intervention and stock of spare parts; system of universal clamps used to cover all the profiles to be cutted and their correspondent dimensions, with minimal setup time and number of clamps. 7 DB10 Double blade cut off with a controlled movement along the orthogonal axis for the range of diameters 3-10 (88.9 to 254 mm) and their derivatives. It is a result of the evolution of a basic project, with already very high performances, that in its last configuration gives the following advantages: extreme flexibility - the wide range of sizes and sections that can be cutted always with the best parameters requested by the blades (also for this machine either HSS or TCT); high-quality of cut and a long blades service life cuts... 0 blades change Thanks to the cooperation with the greatest blades manufacturers, the Adda Fer project office has improved the machine by increasing the cutting performances. The cuts planned in the project without blades changing have been largely achieved and exceeded. In the latest version of the cut off, in fact, the 6800 cuts have been passed without the need to change the cutting blades, significantly contributing to the increase of the tube line productivity, while maintaining a cutting quality which is superior to the standard. It is a result of the evolution of a basic project, with already very high performances, that in its last configuration gives the following advantages: extreme flexibility - the wide range of sizes and sections that can be cutted always with the best parameters requested by the blades (also for this machine either HSS or TCT); high-quality of cut and a long blades service life cuts... 0 blades change The latest version of the DB8 obtained the brilliant performance of 7000 cuts without the need to change the cutting blades. Next events, at which Adda Fer has already confirmed its participation, are: Tubotech, from the 1st to 3rd of October 2013 in San Paolo (Brazil) and Metal Expo, from the 12th to 15th of November in Moscow (Russia).
