Nvr us a scouring agnt to clan th aluminum. For occasional, mor concntratd claning fforts, w find that Lysol Bathroom Clanr works xtrmly wll. B sur that any ovr spray falling on th aluminum fram is rinsd thoroughly and drid. Many ovrth-countr clanrs, if applid to th aluminum and lft on, will harm th mtal finish and caus prmannt damag, vn though thir dirctions indicat saf us on showr doors. INSTALLATION NOTES: Unpack your unit carfully and inspct for fright damag. Layout and idntify all parts using th instruction shts as a rfrnc. Bfor discarding th carton, chck to s that no small hardwar parts hav falln to th bottom of th box. If any parts ar damagd or missing, rfr to th dscriptions notd in th instructions whn contacting your dalr for rplacmnts. Handl th glass panls carfully and protct th dgs. Plas war safty glasss whnvr drilling or cutting. Whn drilling hols in th cramic til or marbl, us a cntr punch and hammr to carfully brak th surfac glaz so th drill can start without skidding. To install your Showr Door you will nd th following: tap masur, lvl, hacksaw, drill, 1/8 and 7/32 drill bits, #2 Phillips scrwdrivr, 3/16 wrnch, sharp knif, and caulking (clar silicon rcommndd). Optional tools includ a cntr punch, fils, a mitr box for cutting parts to lngth and masking tap for holding parts in plac tmporarily. Plas war safty glasss whnvr drilling or cutting. NOTE: Tmprd glass cannot b cut. Although safty tmprd glass is vry rsistant to brakag, th glass can still brak if unqual prssur is placd on it during installation. Us caution. 5 p n D]. h ad 64 Plac th pivot jamb [C] on th curb [A] with th xtrior fac lind up with th raisd dg of th curb. Us a lvl to plumb th jamb thn mark th mounting hol locations. Rmov th jamb and drill th mounting hols. For til or marbl walls, drill thr 7/32 diamtr hols and insrt th plastic wall anchors [H]. A cntr hol punch hlps locat th hols accuratly. Attachmnts to fibrglass or acrylic units can b mad in two ways. If rinforcmnt is built into th wall of th unit, drill thr 1/8 diamtr hols to install mounting scrws dirctly into th rinforcmnt. If walls ar not rinforcd, drill 7/32 hols and install plastic wall anchors or Molly bolts (Molly bolts ar not supplid) Rplac th pivot jamb and attach to th wall with thr #8 x 2 truss had scrws [J]. Thrad th two #10-24 x 7/16 squar had st scrws [K] into th tappd hols in pivot blocks in th top and bottom rails of th glazd door panl [L]. Masur th distanc from th wall to wall dirctly abov th curb (Dim. A ). Dduct 3 13/16 from this amount and position th pivot pins this xact distanc (Dim. B ) from th dg of th door. Tightn th st scrws just nough to prvnt th pivot blocks from moving (fingr tight plus a quartr turn). A 3/16 wrnch (not supplid) will fit th st scrw hads. QCI5001 Rv 0 Pag 5 Crtifid 06/21/2016

6 g m op top and Your Pivot Door is quippd with a magntic catch. Attach th strik jamb [N] to th door. Clos th door so th strik jamb is 7/8 from th front of th curb [A] and mark th jamb location on th wall. If th curb is not usd, clos th door paralll to th showr sill and mark th jamb location. Rmov th strik jamb from th door, hold it in th markd location and mark th hol locations for th mounting scrws. Drill th mounting hols pr th instructions in Stp #5. Rplac th strik jamb and attach it to th wall with thr #8 x 1 1/2 flat had scrws [P]. I NTERIOR HANDLE STRIKE RAIL EXTERIOR HANDLE IDENTIFICATION GROOVES MAGNETIC LATCH #8 X 1 1/2" SCREW STRIKE JAMB Clos th door and chck th claranc with th strik jamb. If ncssary, loosn th st scrws [K] on th top & bottom slid bars and adjust th door panl to align th magnts. Trim th vinyl (flush with th pivot nd and notch ¼ longr than th drip rail as shown on th strik nd). Scur it with on #6 x 3/8 truss had scrw [E] in th pivot nd of th drip rail. Th drip plug [X] is supplid with a lft and right hand plug togthr. Brak th right and lft drip plug apart and insrt th appropriat plug into th high (strik) sid of th drip rail. Discard th unusd drip plug. Pl off th tap backing and carfully prss th drip rail to th door in th markd position. NOTE: Clanrs with alcohol contnt can dissolv th adhsiv that attachs th drip rail.
