1 August 2014 Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Road Numbers ATSF 98611/98616 These 56 general service tank cars are painted black with gray bands. Built in 1980 they bear large white logos and lettering and run on Barber Roller Bearing trucks. Tank car indication bands circa 1970 indicated the cargo the tank was carrying. The grey band on this car indicates it was used in diesel fuel hauling service. # $33.95 # $33.95 Union Pacific Road Numbers UP 9205/9209 These 40 standard box cars with double doors are painted gray with dark gray bands and white stripes and lettering. Built in 1940 as part of a 30-car fleet, which was used in express service, they ran on Allied Full-Cushion trucks. This express fleet covered in a month as many miles as most cars covered in a year. Canadian National Road Number CN This 50 standard box car with plug door and no roofwalk is painted mineral red and runs on Barber Roller Bearing trucks. It was built in 1964 by National Steel Car as series This series was serviced and renumbered to series in The cars were serviced again in December 1976 at the Winnipeg Shops, Transcona, Manitoba. Like many planes in WWII, this B-29 bomber was decorated with custom artwork by its pilot to personalize the plane. The Caboose B-29 Superfortress was part of the 20th Air Force, the 41st Bomb Group and 315th Squadron. This interior-coiled tank car had a 10,153 gallon capacity and ran on 50-ton trucks. Rd# SEPX 16 was one of 15 ordered on Lot #831 built in 1929 at the Milton Manufacturing Plant. 2 Chicago North Western Road Number CNW This 57 converted TOFC flat car is painted yellow with black lettering and runs on Barber Roller Bearing trucks. It was built in 1976 as part of series and was later serviced in Most of C&NW s traffic was concentrated on the lines of an eastern extension of UP s transcontiental main line. Today, UP owns the C&NW after purchasing it in New York Central Road Number NYC This 34 wood sheathed caboose with straight cupola is painted brown with white lettering. It was built for the New York Central Railroad in West Detroit in It had four 20 windows per side and was originally equipped with 5 oil lamps. Road Number This item is not on Standing Order This 50 steel side, 14 panel, fixed end gondola with fishbelly sides is painted black with white lettering and runs on Bettendorf trucks. Built in 1951 by Bethlehem Steel this gondola was later converted in 1956 into a class 0-63 gondola to handle shipments of coil steels by being equipped with two troughs and hoods. This open bi-level autorack was modified by Ringling Bros. to fit their specific equipment transportation needs. Autoracks carried autos, wagons with lighting, concessions and other equipment to the next arena. 3 YOUR SOURCE FOR Z Southern Pacific Road Numbers 6392/8294 These powered F7A and B unit locomotives are painted dark gray with the SP red Bloody Nose paint scheme and lettered in white. Built in 1953 these units stayed with the SP line for their entire working life. In 1959, SP standardized with a paint scheme of dark grey, white lettering and a red winged nose. this scheme was dubbed Bloody Nose by railfans. It was replaced in the mid 1980s by the Kodachrome paint scheme. Shell Oil Company Road Number SEPX 16 This 39 single dome tank car is painted black with white lettering. Built by Pullman standard in 1957, 250 cars from this lot were first placed under the T&NO reporting mark and then later remarked into the SP series Many of the materials transported were highly corrosive. The PS-2 was designed to withstand their inherent effects and keep maintenance regulations to a minimum. This 60 flat car is painted brown with the logo and lettering in white. Part of series , it was built by Thrall in 1974 and runs on Roller Bearing trucks. Acquired by MP and last shopped at Palestine, Texas in 1984 they were equipped with end-of-car cushioning and retained their original C&EI series numbers and logos.
