Overview FMM Negeri Sembilan working committee was formed in January 29, 1992. It was upgraded to Branch status and serviced by the Head Office on January 26, 2000.

3 Overview FMM Negeri Sembilan working committee was formed in January 29, It was upgraded to Branch status and serviced by the Head Office on January 26, The FMM Negeri Sembilan Branch office was set-up in Seremban in 2001 with a permanent secretariat to service the needs of the members in Negeri Sembilan. The office commenced operations in February In April 2014 the Branch bought its own double story shopoffice. The office was officially opened on November 3, 2014 by FMM President - YBhg Datuk Seri Saw Choo Boon and En Steven Aroki. FMM Branch under the Chairmanship of Datuk Mohamed Arsad Bin Sehan of PureCicle Sdn Bhd remained focused in addressing issues and problems faced by members. 6 MEMBERSHIP STATUS FMM Negeri Sembilan Branch Annual Report 2015/2016 As at June 30, 2016, Negeri Sembilan Branch serviced a total of 126 companies comprising 93 direct members, 6 affiliate members and 27 service members. N & L Advance Medic Sdn Bhd (SEHAT Medical Wellness Centre) SIGNIFICANT DEVELOPMENT AND ISSUES Infrastructure and Utilities Resolved infrastructure and landscaping issues with Majlis Jawatankuasa Lalulintas, Pengakutan Awam dan Infrastruktur, Seremban and Jawantankuasa Infrastruktur dan Pengindahan, Nilai. Initiated a briefing cum dialogue with TNB on April 20, 2016 at Klana Resort Seremban to address power quality issues faced by members. TNB agreed to improve its distribution system and attend to unscheduled power interruptions promptly. Taking into consideration the request/appeal from industries for deposit payments via Bank Guarantees (BG), the Director of Syarikat Air Negeri Sembilan (SAINS) has agreed to forward the issue to SPAN. Member companies with heavy water usage proposing the use of BG could submit request letters to SAINS. 6

7 Trade and Business Facilitation Seminar on Employment Misconduct & Law on Dismissal (a collaboration effort between FMM NS and Kelab Keluarga Jabatan Tenaga Kerja N S) on September 22, 2015 attended by 40 participants. The Seminar was conducted by Chua Ah Ley Retired Deputy Director of Labour, Negeri Sembilan The 1 st FMM NS SMI Occupational Safety & Health Seminar 2015 on September 29 30, 2015 with the objective to increase awareness and understanding on the importance of occupational safety and health management, especially with respect to compliance with relevant legislation, as well as the application of a safe and healthy work practices in SME sector. The seminar was officiated by Tn. Hj. Ahmad Kahar bin Abu Bakar Director of DOSH Negeri Sembilan was attended by 50 participants. FMM NS 2015 Annual Dinner on October 21, 2015 Visit to NSCMH Medical Centre on July 30, 2015 and Kualiti Alam Sdn Bhd on January 26, 2016 to promote business and networking opportunities. The Branch s CEOs Networking Hi-tea and talk on Malaysia s Economic Outlook and Lookout by the Economist of Maybank Investment Dr Zamros Dzulkafli, on August 27, members took part in the networking session. Seminar on Customs Tax Incentives (exemption) Under Section 14.2 Customs Act 1967 on February 23, 2016 attended by 20 participants. The Seminar was conducted by Goh Kin Siang retired Deputy Director of Customs. Courtesy call on YAB Dato Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Haji Hasan, Menteri Besar Negeri Sembilan on March 16,2016.The Branch s delegation was led by its Branch Committee Chairman, Datuk Mohamed Arsad Bin Sehan. The Branch s 2 nd CEOs Networking Hi-tea and talk on Wars, Cosmetic & Marathon by Teoh Kok Lin s of Singular Asset Management on May 19, 2016 Briefing cum Dialogue Session with Department of Safety & Health (DOSH), Department of Environment and Jabatan Bomba of Negeri Sembilan on May 17, Assistance to Members Meeting with PUSPAKOM Seremban on August12, 2015 to discuss and address road safety issue causing by the vehicles queuing for inspection at PUSPAKOM. 7 companies lead by Datuk Mohamed Arsad the Branch Committee Chairman attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by En Ahmad Zahiri Bin Ismail Head of Division Operations- Branch Mgt & Planning PUSPAKOM Sdn Bhd Resolved a member s work permit delay faced with MyEG. Highlight members issue on poor internet service and interruption with TM. Corporate Social Responsibility Briefing on Crime Prevention among Foreign Workers on May 10, The briefing was organised by the Nilai Regional Committee and was conducted by officers from the Police Department of Nilai and Majlis Perbandaran Nilai. 7

FMM NS CEOs Hi-Tea and a special talk on Wars, Cosmetic & Marathon by Teoh Kok Lin s of Singular Asset Management FMM INSTITUTE NEGERI SEMBILAN May 10, 2016 May 17, 2016 May 19, 2016 During the period under review, FMM Institute Negeri Sembilan Branch successfully conducted a total of 93 programmes. Of the total 31 were public programmes, 57 were in-house programmes and 5 certificate programmes. These programmes covered a range of subjects including soft managerial skills, industrial safety and technical skills which benefited about 1490 participants. CIRCULARS TO MEMBERS A total of 47 circulars which included activities, programmes and updates were sent to members during the period under review. 8
