2 Product description Single needle actuator ctuation: Electric The electric drive for valve-gate systems is excellent for electric injection moulding machines and features unrestricted clean-room compatibility. Electromagnet ME 0/UV compact, powerful drive for rapid needle movements for adaptation in the clamping plate. Easy installation and mould construction. Maintenance-free. Energy efficient switching s. stroke 0 mm. s can be adjusted individually in the range of ± mm. Up to needles can be controlled simultaneously and with high precision by means of an external controls (evalvecontrol-). Option of -drop parallel operation. Stepper motor SM 0 Up to needles can be individually or simultaneously controlled with high precision by an external control device. One control module is used for two stepper motors in each case. Due to the plain, simple and fully coloured menu of the ServoControl single, the current needle s as well as the incoming and outgoing signals can be read at any. It is also essential to remove air from the system after filling the cylinders with oil. Further venting should also be done during the first hours of operation. Venting prevents a compression of the air contained in the oil, which could cause premature wear (partial combustion) in the sealing elements (O rings). Upstream of a maintenance unit with pneumatic needle actuator To ensure that the pneumatic needle drive will operate with process reliability, a maintenance unit, consisting of a pressure reducer, water separator and oiler, must be fitted upstream. Tempering Sufficient cooling must be ensured in the lower area of needle actuation.
