38 Wiring Instructions: 1) After mounting hopper convergent location for operator. 2) Locate wire components from parts carton and hardware bags. 3) Connect the ring terminals to a 12-volt power source. White Wire (+) Black Wire (-) 4) Connect the two 12 foot wire harness (L ) to connectors on console and rout to connectors located on hopper. Install one piece of black flex guard to each wire harness. 5) Mounting the Run/Hold Switch. The Run/Hold switch is wired from the factory to be nominally closed. The chain has to be pulled to release the switch to stop the electric motor. Note: The Run/Hold switch only turns on or off the electric motor. For stopping for long periods of time shut-off the center master switch to cut all power to motor and clutches. Mount run/hold switch per instructions. 7) Connect wire ( ) from console back to hopper and connect to run\hold adaptor wire ( ). Connect wire ( ) to wire adaptor and rout back and connect to Run/Hold switch. Connect run\hold adaptor wire to wire from electric motor. 8) If Run/Hold switch is not needed connect wire to wire from electric motor. This will by-pass the Run\Hold switch. Page 38 of 48

40 30-Ft Units (3000 Model Turbo Till & Turbo Chopper) use all 12 outlets. For 24-Ft Units (2400 Model Turbo Till & Turbo Chopper) use only 10 outlets. 24-ft models only use a total of 10 outlets. Locate the two blank plates (Part # ) and the two 5/16 x 5/8 hex bolts & two 5/16 lock washers that were shipped inside hopper. Step #1 (front metering door) Locate the third metering cup in form the front and remove the 5/16 x 1-3/4 bolt, washer and spring from hole closure and save the extruded washer. Step #2 Using the 5/16 x 5/8 hex bolt & 5/16 lock washer reuse the extruded washer and securely fasten the hole closure in place as this metering cup will not be used. Make sure hole closure is fully closed when tightening bolt. Repeat this step for the rear metering door. Step # C-A Step # C-A See next page. Page 40 of 48

41 Next using the two blank plates remove the mixing chamber from under the two metering cups that will not be used saving the gasket and bolts. Bolt the blank plate in place of the mixing chamber using the gasket and bolts. Air Chamber Blank Plates: Blank Plate ( ) is used to block off unused air chamber openings when not needed. 45 Mounting Instructions Mount run\hold switch to frame tube by right wheel lift as shown. Use two part # plates. One on each side of tube and mount run hold switch to the plates using the four 3/8 x 4-1/2 hex bolts, lock washers & lock nuts. Tighten hardware securely. 47 Connect the large end of the s-hook to and clinch s-hook so it cannot come off. Connect s-hook to sash chain and clinch end to s-hook. Connect key ring to spring on run\hold switch. Note: Chain may have to be shortened to meet desired length needed. Make sure implement can float and that there is no tension on spring when lowered so Run/Hold switch is not starting and stopping the electric motor when traveling. Connect wire to wire on Run/Hold Switch and route wire along frame to front corner of hopper and connect to wire plug marked Run/Hold. 6245GP-S4 Page 47 of 48

48 Maintenance Check all bolts for tightness after first two hours of use; check periodically thereafter. Grease all fittings regularly. There are Two grease fittings on this hopper.
