2 IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION We thank you for choosing our product. To ensure your safety and health, please use this equipment correctly. It is important to read this entire manual before assembling and using the equipment. Safe and effective use can only be assured if the equipment is assembled, maintained, and used properly. It is your responsibility to ensure that all users of the equipment are informed of all warnings and precautions. 1. Before starting any exercise program you should consult your physician to determine if you have any medical or physical conditions that could put your health and safety at risk, or prevent you from using the equipment properly. Your physician s advice is essential if you are taking medication that affects your heart rate, blood pressure or cholesterol level. 2. Be aware of your body s signals. Incorrect or excessive exercise can damage your health. Stop exercising if you experience any of the following symptoms: pain, tightness in your chest, irregular heartbeat, shortness of breath, lightheadedness, dizziness or feelings of nausea. If you do experience any of these conditions, you should consult your physician before continuing with your exercise program. 3. Keep children and pets away from the equipment. The equipment is designed for adult use only. 4. Use the equipment on a solid, flat level surface with a protective cover for your floor or carpet. To ensure safety, the equipment should have at least 2 feet (60 CM) of free space all around it. 5. Ensure that all nuts and bolts are securely tightened before using the equipment. The safety of the equipment can only be maintained if it is regularly examined for damage and/or wear and tear. 6. Always use the equipment as indicated. If you find any defective components while assembling or checking the equipment, or if you hear any unusual noises coming from the equipment during exercise, discontinue use of the equipment immediately and do not use until the problem has been rectified. 7. Wear suitable clothing while using the equipment. Avoid wearing loose clothing that may become entangled in the equipment. 8. Do not place fingers or objects into the moving parts of the equipment 9. The maximum weight capacity of this unit is 250 pounds (113 kg). 10. The equipment is not suitable for therapeutic use. 11. To avoid bodily injury and/ or damage to the product or property, proper lifting and moving is required. 12. Your product is intended for use in cool, dry conditions. You should avoid storage in extreme cold, hot or damp areas as this may lead to corrosion and other related problems. 13. This equipment is designed for indoor and home use only! 6 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS. #39 M8x55 2PCS...#43 M8 2PCS #59 Φ8.4*Φ13.5 2PCS #56 Φ8.5*Φ16.0 2PCS #64 STEP 1: Remove the preassembled Cap Nuts (No. 43) and remove the Washers (No. 56), Spring Washers (No. 59), Bolts (No. 39) and Shipping Tube (No. 66). You may discard Shipping Tubes (No. 66) or save it in case you d like to repackage the item in the future.. #39 M8x55 2PCS...#43 M8 2PCS #59 Φ8.4*Φ13.5 2PCS.#56Φ8.5*Φ16.0 2PCS #64 STEP 2: Attach Front Stabilizer (No. 24) to Main Frame (No. 8) using 2 Bolts (No. 39), 2 Cap Nuts (No. 43), 2 Spring Washers (No. 59) and 2 Washers (No. 56) that were removed from Shipping Tube (No. 66). Tighten and secure with Spanner (No. 64). A t t a c h #65 #38 M12x160 4PCS STEP 3: Attach the 2 Bolts (No. 38) into the bottom holes in position B of Main Frame (No. 8) with Spanner (No. 65). Insert the 2 Bolts (No. 38) through the Pedals (No. 19) into the upper holes in position A of Main Frame (No. 8) and tighten with Spanner (No. 65). NOTE: The Pedals (No. 19) should rest on the Bolts (No. 38) that are in position B. F r o n t S t a b i l i z e r ( N o )

Then remove End Cap (No. 20) pre-assembled on Sliding Rail (No. 5). Insert the Seat (No. 6) onto Sliding Rail (No. 5). Attach the End Cap (No. 20) onto Sliding Rail (No. 5). Attach Limit Mat (No. 28) onto Sliding Rail (No.5) using 2 Screws (No. 45). Tighten and secure with Spanner (No. 63)...#46 M8x15 4PCS #59 Φ8.4*Φ13.5 4PCS #56 Φ8.5*Φ16.0 4PCS STEP 5: Attach Sliding Rail (No. 5) onto Rear Support (No. 9) using 4 Screws (No. 46), 4 Spring Washers (No. 59) and 4 Washers (No. 56). Tighten and secure with Allen Wrench (No. 63). S5 #63.#57 Φ10.3*Φ20.0 2PCS #60 Φ10.2*Φ16.6 2PCS #44 M10 2PCS #31 1PC.#12 1PC #64 #65 STEP 6: To attach Sliding Rail (No. 5) with Main Frame (No. 8) align hole (f) (FIG.B) of the Sliding Rail (No. 5) with hole (b) (FIG.A) of the Main Frame (No. 8), insert Connecting Rod (No. 12) through the holes on (b, and f), then attach 2 Washers (No. 57), 2 Spring Washers (No. 60) and 2 Cap Nuts (No. 44). Tighten and secure with Spanner (No. 64), and Spanner (No. 65). Next, align (d) (FIG.B) of Sliding Rail (No. 5) with hole (a) (FIG.A) of Main Frame (No. 8), then insert Pull Pin (No. 31). Connect Trunk Wire (No. 61) with Sensor Wire (No.62). The assembly is complete! 6 The assembly is now complete!
8 ADJUSTMENT GUIDE PEDAL STRAP ADJUSTMENT The pedal strap is adjustable and can be personalized to fit the user s foot size. MOVING THE MACHINE To move the machine, lift up the rear stabilizer until the transportation wheels on the front stabilizer touch the ground. With the wheels on the ground, you can transport the rower to the desired location with ease. ADJUSTING THE BALANCE Adjust the End Caps (No. 34) on the rear stabilizer of the machine if the machine is unbalanced during use. ADJUSTING THE RESISTANCE Rotate the Tension Control Knob (No. 30) clockwise to increase the level of resistance. Rotate the tension control counter-clockwise to decrease the level ofresistance. Tension levels are set at Level 1 being the lowest and Level 8 being thehighest. CAUTION! Keep hands and fingers clear of the sliding rail while in use. Moving parts such as the seat can cause injury. 7
9 FOLDING THE MACHINE Figure A When not in use, you can save space by folding the Sliding Rail (No. 5). 1. Pull out the Pull Pin (No. 31). Fold the sliding rail to vertical angle (Figure A). SAFETY NOTE: the saddle will glide down when folding the sliding rail. 2. Align the hole (b) (Figure C) of Sliding Rail (No. 5) with hole (a) (Figure D) of Main Frame (No. 8), then insert the Pull Pin (No. 31) (Figure B). CAUTION! Move with caution when you vertically fold the Sliding Rail (No. 5) as your head may touch the Rear Support (No. 9). Figure B Figure D CAUTION! 10 REPLACE THE BATTERY Two AAA batteries are included in the Meter (No. 29). To replace the batteries, remove the computer from Main Frame (No. 8), and disconnect the Trunk Wire (No. 61) and the link wire of computer. Replace both batteries. Do not mix battery types and do not mix old and new batteries. After the replacement, connect Trunk Wire (No. 61) with the link wire of computer and put the computer back into the Main Frame (No. 8). Dispose or recycle batteries according to your state and local guidelines. 9
11 EXERCISE METER Our computerized display console on the Sunny Air Magnetic Rower allows you to tailor a personalized workout by monitoring your progress. During a workout, the display console will alternately and repeatedly display your Time, Count, Calories Burned, Total Count, and Scan (all of the above). With our easy-to-use console, you can efficiently track your fitness improvements from one workout to the next. FUNCTION KEY: 1. MODE: To select your specification mode and/or turn on display console. 2. SET: To set a value of Time, Count or Calories (when not in Scan mode). 3. RESET: Press to reset Time, Count or Calories. Press and hold for about 3 seconds to reset all values, expect Total Count. FUNCTIONS AND OPERATIONS: 1. Scan: Press MODE button until SCAN appears. THE display will rotate through the five functions in the following order: TIME, COUNT, CALORIES, and TOTAL COUNT. Each function will display for 4 seconds. 2. TIME: Counts the total time elapsed during your current workout. 3. COUNT: Counts the number of rowing strokes from your current workout. 4. CAL: Counts the total calories burned during current workout. 5. TOTAL COUNT: Counts the total amount of strokes from the first use. 6. AUTO ON/OFF & AUTO START/STOP: The power will turn off automatically once there s no signal for 4 minutes. The meter will reactive once the machine is put into or when a meter key is pressed. COUNTDOWN: You can set the value of Time, Count or Calories to countdown. 1. Press MODE to select a function. Make sure you are in SCAN mode. 2. Press SET to select the value you want. You can press RESET to clear the value. 3. When the display stops flashing, start rowing and the machine will start to countdown.
