2 Steering System REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION Steering Column Special Tool(s) Remover, Differential Bearing (T77F-4220-B1) 1. Turn the steering wheel to the straight-ahead position and remove the key from the ignition lock cylinder. 2. Depower the supplemental restraint system (SRS). For additional information, refer to Section B. 3. If removing the steering wheel, remove the driver air bag module. For additional information, refer to Section B. 4. If removing the steering column, remove the steering column opening cover. For additional information, refer to Section Remove the parts in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.
