13 25 24 Switchgear construction Swichgear compartment B usbar Compartment: is located in the cubicle, including the main Basbar to make connection between Basbar and cubicle. Switching Compartment: is including a 3-position SF6 Switch disconector with epoxy cast resin enclosure as well as the inspection windows and optional gas density indicator. Cable Compartment: is the 75% of internal space where is provided for cable connection with a simple terminal which makes it possible to use both a 3phase cable and 3single phase cable. This part is equipped with an inspection window and safe interlocking system according to the international standards. There are three indivisual cable glands in the bottom for cable incoming which get to be used for cables in different size by a special pin or clamp. the indivisual cable glands can be removed easily for cable installation Operating Interlocking Mechanism and Low Voltage (LV) Compartment: is including spring operation mechanism with position indicator, mechanical interlocking system and any other accessory such as axillary condact, Tripping coil, emergency tripping mechanism, capactive voltage presence indicator and motor operating system as well as some additional space which is provided for control circuits and measuring instrument and a protection relay. In the cubicle with 750mm wide there is second space for more requested accessories.

14 Switch Disconnector cubicle, Type SDC Technical Description SDC Type is Generally used as an incoming, Ring or Branch Cubicle: The main part is including a 3 -position SF6 load Break Switch Type SFG, equipped with operation mechanism. «The 3 -position switch disconnector is one of three position, Closed, Open or Earthed». The avoid incorrect operating, cable compartment is available only in earthed position. The open & close positions are visible through the inspection windows, provided on the door of low voltage compartment. Cable connetion and fault indicator can be inspected easily, during, operation, through the front-door window. For more security, the door of cable compartment is equipped with a meshancal interlocking system, updated with the latest techniques. Switch Disconnector cubicle With Fuse,Type SDF Technical Description SDF switch disconnector is used for transformer protection, including 3 -position SF6 switch disconnector with integrated earthing switch which operates on the upstream side earthing. A separate earthing switch operates on the downstream side of the fuses, for fuse. The used mechanism in this type of cubicle is double spring type with automatic fuse tripping device. 15 Circuit breaker Cubicle,Type CBC Technical Description trans- CBC s design is suitable for control and protection of distribution lines, networks, motors, formers, capacitors bank etc. CBC cubicle can be equipped with SF- 6 gas or vacuum circuit breaker, which is rail mounted or fixed to the basbars. A 3 -position switch disconnector, including an earthing switch is provided between circuit breaker and busbar For operator security, MV compartment s door is mechanically interlocked and equipped with an earthing switch. The cubicle has the ability to be equipped with CT & VT. 16 Direct Busbar connection Cubicle, Type DBC Bus Riser cubicle, Type BRC 31 Technical Description The DBC cubicle is used to connect cables to the busbars. The cubicle is equipped with connection lugs for fixing the cables. CTs installation is possible only in 500mm - width cubicle The lower front door is fixed and can only be opened with a tool when earthing switch is not included. The door has a window for inspection. The cubicle is designed to be equipped with CTs and VTs. 35 Sectionalising Widrawable able Breaker Cubicle, Type SBW Technical Description The SBW cubicle is a sectionalising circuit breaker panel equipped with a withdrawable circuit breaker. The SBW is used together with the bus riser cubicle (BRC). The cubicle is designed for sectionalising the busbar in the switchgear and is available in two types, vacuum or SF6 - gas circuit breaker.the CB truck handles the disconnecting function of the circuit breaker. 19 Sectionalising Metering Cubicle With Disconnector, Type SMD Sectionalising Metering Cubicle,Type SMC Technical Description 37 Technical Description SMD cubicle is generally used when the medium voltage metering and/or switchgear sectionalising is required The SMD cubicle is based on operation of two separately operated 3 -position, SFG type switch disconnectors bars. Switch disconnectors are insulated at the ends of sectionalised bus switchgear. DIN size VTs and CTs are available on right hand side of the 3 -position switch disconnectors are interlocked with cubicle front door and the cable compartment is accessible only when both switch disconnectors are in earthed-position. SMC cubicle is generally used when the medium voltage metering and/or switchgear sectionalising is required The SMC cubicle is based on operation of one rail mounted circuit breaker and two separately operated 3 -position, SFG type switch disconnectors. 20 Bus Metering Cbicle, Type BMC Technical Description Universal Metering Cbicle, Type UMC Technical Description 39 BMC cubicle is generally used when the medium voltage meteringis required DIN size VTs and CTs are available on right hand side of cubicle The cable compartment is accessible only when the interlocking unit is in the door open position. The UMC cubicle is used when a special arrangement of equipment and connecting to the other MV cubicles are required. The cubicle is very flexible and meets all kind of requested arrangements by costumers. 21 41 Earthing Switches The earthing switch for earthing parts main circuits is incorporated in the switch disconnector SFG - three position switch. The earthing switch has double bladed moving knives. the fixed contacts are connected together (short-circuited) to a common earthing bar insid the switch housing. Outside the housing is an earthing terminal for connection to an earthing conductor. The main earthing switch is incorporated in the switch disconnector SFG. The earthing switch has 3 double bladed moving knives. the fixed contacts are connected together to a common earthing bar inside the switch housing. Fused switch disconnector cubicles are equipped with two earthing switches. Because the both ends of fuse links are earthed, the fuse links can be replased by hands without any special tools. The earthing switch, type EF, has reduced making capacity due to the fact that no full short circuit current can occur.(fuse down stream). Earthing switch, type EM, is used for earthing of cable terminations in circuit breaker cubicles and when the main busbar earthing is needed. All earthing switches have true position indicators through the front door and are operated by the main operating shaft in the front of panel. 32 63 Applications: Advantages: As a result of having IP54, there is the possibility of installation the Half-Oil Pad Mounted substation in the worst weather conditions. Mounting transformer outside of the MV & LV panel s enclosure makes the operation temperature almost equal to the ambient temperature which results in increasing the life time of both used insulators & the substation. The Half-Oil pad mounted substation is equipped with plug-in transformer type slide bushing and the MV compartment is equipped with GIS compact panel. The used technology of this substation results in manufacturing it in smaller dimensions. The special feature of Half-Oil pad mounted substation in comparison with Full-Oil pad mounted substation is the separation of the transformer from MV & LV panels as well as possibility to replace all the components. 33 65 Half Oil Pad Mounted Substation TR Special features: One of the special features of Half-Oil Pad Mounted in comparison the with full-oil Pad Mounted is the separation of the transformer from the MV panel as well as switching outside of the transformer oil which increases the life time of it, also it makes it possible to be installed in the Main Ring of the Distributing Network. In addition to the above, the modular design has been made in a way that replacement of all the components especially in increasing or decreasing the capacity of the transformer is possible. In comparison with prefabricated enclusure the dimensions are visibly more compressed which results in less space being used for installation As a result of both mounting the transformer out door and heat run test class 0 the life time and efficiency is increased.
