4 WARNING Before Working on This Machine Switch Engine to OFF Please note that this installation guide is for a standard machine only. The hose and electrical harness routing may be different depending on the attachments that may already be installed on your machine. A Snowrator machine is shown for all assembly photos. 5 DISCONNECT POWER Disconnect the Negative Battery Cable Remove battery cover by unhooking strap. Disconnect Ground Wire from negative battery terminal using socket or wrench. 1a 1b Tuck Negative Battery Cable off to the side. Remove Power Wires Remove nut on Solenoid using the 10mm socket with 1 1/2 extension Remove Positive Battery Cable (red), Power Wire (orange) and Green wire. 3a 3b Remove Remove Ground Wires Remove nut from Center Ground Post using a 1/2 wrench Disconnect all Ground Wires from right side of Rectifier. 4a 4b Use the ratchet with 10mm socket and 1 1/2 extension Remove these wires Key Switch - Snowrator 6/15/2017 4

6 PREP IGNITION HARNESS Replace Ground Wire Connector Cut the Blue O-Ring connector off the Ground Wire using cable tie cutters. Strip 1/4" of insulation from the wire using the wire strippers. Slide the Red O-Ring connector onto the exposed wire. Crimp the new connector to the wire using wire crimpers. Key Switch - Snowrator 6/15/2017 5

7 REMOVE ELECTRICAL HARNESSES AND SWITCHES Cut cable ties on Wire Harness Bundle. 1 Disconnect the Engine Wires from the harness. Unplug the yellow wires from each other. Unplug the red and black wires from each other. Unplug the (2) two gray wires. Unplug the white wire. 2a 2b 2c ` 2d Key Switch - Snowrator 6/15/2017 6

8 3a Disconnect Switches, Pump and Rear Light Unplug all wires from the Ignition Switch Unplug all wires from both Rocker Switches Unplug Rear Light Connector. Disconnect the Liquid Pump 3a 3b 3c 3d Key Switch - Snowrator 6/15/2017 7

9 Remove Front Light Harness Remove the Ground Wires for each light using the 3/8 socket with 1 1/2 extension and a Philips screw driver (nut is under frame) Unplug each Front Light Connector. Cut Cable Tie holding the harnesses to the frame (in front of Hydro Pump) 4a 4b 4c Key Switch - Snowrator 6/15/2017 8

10 Detach Relay using the 8mm socket with 1 1/2 extension and a 3/8 wrench. 5 Remove the following harnesses Ignition harness Front Light Harnesses Switch harnesses (2) 6a 6b 6c Key Switch - Snowrator 6/15/2017 9

11 Remove the Pump and Light Switches Press tabs on both sides of Light Switch Pull switch from console while tabs are pressed in. Repeat for Pump Switch 7a 7b Tabs Key Switch - Snowrator 6/15/

12 INSTALL NEW HARNESS AND SWITCHES Install Liquid Pump and Light Switches Thread wires of the Red Rocker Switch through the opening labeled PUMP Push the switch down until you hear a click Repeat with the Blue Rocker Switch and the opening labeled LIGHTS 1a 1b 1c Install Liquid Pump Harness Liquid Pump Harness Labels Connect the Switch Connector to the Pump Rocker Switch (red) Connect the Pump Connector to the Liquid Pump 2a 2b 2c Switch Connector Ground Wire Power Wire Pump Connector Key Switch - Snowrator 6/15/

13 Route Power and Ground Wires in between metal brackets of uprights Connect the Ground Wire to the right side of the Rectifier Connect the Power Wire to the solenoid post. 2d 2e 2f Attach nuts loosely Key Switch - Snowrator 6/15/

14 INSTALL IGNITION HARNESS Attach Console connections Plug the Switch Connector to the Light Rocker Switch (blue) Plug the Voltmeter Connector to the Voltmeter. If not used, fold together with a cable tie and tuck out of the way. 1a 1b Attach Light Connections Route all other wires through Upright brackets. Route Rear Light Connector to the left of the Upright and connect to Rear Light 2a 2b Key Switch - Snowrator 6/15/

15 Route the (2) two Front Light Connectors to the front of the machine. Route under the Hydro Pump and all Hoses Connect a Front Light Connector to each Front light Bend Cable Tie into an L to attach cables to the frame 2c-1 2c-2 2c-2 Route under Hydro Pump and all hoses. 2c-3 Connect Power and Ground Wires Connect the Ground Wire to the right side of the Rectifier. Tighten nut on Rectifier using the 10mm socket with a 1 1/2 extension and 3/8 wrench. Connect the Power Wire to the Solenoid Post. 3a 3b 3c Key Switch - Snowrator 6/15/

16 KEYSWITCH AND HARNESS CONNECTIONS Attach Key Switch to the Engine Insert an M6 x 3/8 hex bolt into the top hole of the Key Switch. Mount to the top hole on the engine using the 10mm nut driver. Repeat steps 1a and 1b with the bottom mounting hole. 1a 1b 1c Connect Rectifier Harness Connect the white wire from Rectifier Harness to white wire on the Key Switch Connect the black wire from Rectifier Harness to black wire on the Key Switch Connect the two gray wires on Rectifier to gray wires from Engine 2a 2b 2c From Engine Short Wires Rectifier Harness Key Switch - Snowrator 6/15/

17 Connect Engine Wires Connect red and black wires from the engine and Key Switch (match colors) Connect yellow wire from top of engine to yellow wire cable tied to engine. Completed connections 3a 3b 3c From Engine From Key Switch Connect Key Switch to Solenoid Connect the female blade connector from the Key Switch to the Solenoid Blade Connector Connect the wire with the O-Ring from the Key Switch to the Solenoid Post 4a 4b Key Switch - Snowrator 6/15/

18 Connect Battery Cables Connect the Positive Battery Cable to the Solenoid Post and tighten nut using 10mm socket and 1 1/2 extension Connect the Negative Cable to the Center ground post and tighten nut with 1/2 wrench. Connect the Negative Cable to the Battery and tighten nut using 10mm socket and 1 1/2 extension 5a Make sure 5b 5c all wires are connected. Key Switch - Snowrator 6/15/

19 TEST Liquid Pump Press the Pump Switch and listen for the sound of the Liquid Pump running. Turn off the pump. 1a, 1b Lights Press the Light Switch and verify the Front and Back lights turn on. Turn off the lights. 2a, 2b Key Switch - Snowrator 6/15/

20 Key Switch Adjust Choke halfway Adjust Throttle halfway Turn on the Engine using the Key Switch and verify it starts. Turn off Choke and then the Engine 3a 3b 3c, 3d Key Switch - Snowrator 6/15/
