Redekop jackshaft interferes with 20 Series rear shroud support. Solution: 1. Order kit S758S, S756S. 2. Replace existing jackshaft upper mount bracket with new design. 3. Revision 0 Revision 1 If you are not sure which type of belt you have - 2 or - 2 belt drive, use the following measurements to identify it. 2 Drive 2 Drive 2 of 10

3 PRODT PDATE Title: ASE I AFX 20 Series Jackshaft Mount update 1: - Remove drive shield (A) to get access to jackshaft mount; - Remove both belts () by loosening tension links () and (2); 2 A 2: - Disconnect auger sensor harness (D), pull harness back, let it hang out of the way, feed through bracket afterwards; D 3 of 10

4 PRODT PDATE Title: ASE I AFX 20 Series Jackshaft Mount update 3: - Remove old top jackshaft mount bracket (E) (hardware will be re-used) - Place jack with blocking under bottom mount bracket (F); - Loosen bolts on the bottom bracket (F); E E F 4 of 10

5 PRODT PDATE Title: ASE I AFX 20 Series Jackshaft Mount update 4 - Let jackshaft (G) swing back slightly, install new top mount bracket (S612) () to jackshaft from the top back side; - y using laser alingment tool check that chopper sheave is square to driver sheave on combine gearbox. Square chopper if required by loosening bolts on chopper mount flange. Retighten once square; - lamp (I) top of drive mount bracket with combine beam (); - Attach top bracket () to jackshaft weldment with M12 x 25 Flange olts (J) x 4 pcs. from Step 3; - Square up jackshaft to top combine driver sheave by using Laser Alignment Tool (measure 4 places on sheave 90 degree apart); - lamp (I) in place firmly when in square; - Drill 4 (four) holes thru top mount bracket into combine beams () by using 13/32 drill bit to fit Flange olts M10 x 35 (use 90 degree drill); I I J J G se the laser alignment tool to square jackshaft sheave to combine gearbox sheave 5 of 10

6 PRODT PDATE Title: ASE I AFX 20 Series Jackshaft Mount update 5: - Locate pper Mount Support Rails (L) and pper Mount racket Rail Rear (M) on the top of combine beams () over holes previously drilled; - These should be approximately flush to the beam (some variations allowable with 2 sets of holes (N)); - Pass auger harness through center space in top mount (); - Drill 3/8 holes through rail bracket (O) into side of combine beam (); - Mount into place with 8 x M10 x 35 Flange olts (P) and M10 Flange Nuts (R); - Tighten all bolts before releasing clamp; O P L M L N M R 6 of 10

7 PRODT PDATE Title: ASE I AFX 20 Series Jackshaft Mount update 6: - Remove old lower bracket (S); - Remove shield bracket (T) (will be re-installed on new lower bracket along with hardware); - Install new bottom mount bracket (S660) (F) to combine frame by using 2 pcs. x M12 x 25 Flange olts (J) and 2 pcs. x Flange Nuts M12; - Mount to jackshaft assembly with 2 pcs. x M12 x 25 Flange olts (J); - Re-install shield bracket (T) with 2 pcs. x 8 x 16 Flange olts () and 2 pcs. x M8 Flange Nuts; J1 S F T F J J T 7 of 10

8 PRODT PDATE Title: ASE I AFX 20 Series Jackshaft Mount update 7: - If 2 Drive belts are used, follow the procedure below, for 2 drive follow the procedure starting at step 9; - Remove 6 idler () (hardware will be re-used) and replace with 6 idler will be replaced with 8 idler (RP160); - Remove tension links () (was loosen in Step 1); 8 of 11

9 PRODT PDATE Title: ASE I AFX 20 Series Jackshaft Mount update This idler update is only required on 2 drives 8: - To remove idler arm (1) large sheave (A1) will have to be slid over to give clearance; - Loosen sheave (A1) and bushing. Slide sheave (A1) over shaft to the combine wall; - Replace old Idler arm with new one (1); - Re-use exisitng hardware (1) to assemble arm to frame; - heck that (1) shaft protrudes past end of pivot tube. Add spacer washers if necessary. - Mount lower idler (1) with following hardware: 1 pc. - S146Z Spacer M16 X 3L (D1) 2 pcs Z Spacer M16 X.78L (E1) 1 pc. - 11M olt ex M16 x 180 (F1) 3 pcs. - W11M-16 Washer Flat M16 x 32 x 3.5 (G1) 1 pc. - N21M-16 Nut Flange M16 (1) - Replace 6 idler with 8 idler pulley (RP160) () for lower arm (1); A1 1 1 E1 1 D1 G1 F1 9 of 11

10 PRODT PDATE Title: ASE I AFX 20 Series Jackshaft Mount update 9: - Re-install belts (); - Re-install all tension links () and (2) and re-tention idlers. For (2) tension link use S761Z (3) Spacer and RP226 (4) Spring; - heck bottom drive sheaves alignment with laser tool; - If vertical alignment is required loosen rotor bearings and move rotor up or down as required. Tighten bearing bolts and adjust sheaves in or out as required; - Re-install shield (A); 2 2 V 4 V 3 10 of 11

11 PRODT PDATE Title: ASE I AFX 20 Series Shroud Mount racket mounting update 10: - Around jackshaft drive apply ASE I Shroud Mount bracket; - Align with existing holes in combine sidewalls on one side and mark two holes on another side; - Drill two 13/32 holes holes through sidewall and light support bracket; - Mount ASE I Shroud Mount racket (A3) with: 4 pcs. - olt, Flg M10 x 20 (3); 4 pcs. - Nut, Flg M10 (4); A3 3 A3 4 A3 11 of 11
