3 Locking Systems - Overview Häfele offers you a comprehensive range of locking technology solutions for every installation situation, from locks with lever bit keys to Dialock electronic locking systems. Choose the lock type according to your individual requests: security, economic efficiency or design. Locks Mechanical Locking Systems: Locks with Lever Bit Keys Key changes: 1 Push Button Locks Locks with lever bit keys are often used where visual attractiveness is more of an issue than safety. Due to the great choice of decorative keys available in different designs and materials, the appearance of the lock can be adapted to the furniture. Well suited for the recreation or boating industry, these locks operate by push button, without a key. All push button locks can be used in wet areas. When locked there is no protrusion of the knob. Cylinder with Plate Levers Key changes: Combination Locks Häfele plate cylinders are a simple and economic solution for many applications. Locks with plate cylinders are available with up to 500 key changes with suitable master keys. Häfele offers you a multitude of locks with fixed plate cylinders as well as removable plate cylinders for the cylinder module systems. Combination locks are suitable for safe deposit boxes, lockers, changing rooms and wardrobes. 7 SYMO 3000 Locking System Information SYMO 3000 is the worldwide unique furniture locking system from Häfele. Without tools and time-consuming installation, it provides maximum flexibility at minimum expenditure and effort. The locking system SYMO 3000 is based on the principle to separate lock, body and cylinder core. Due to the multitude of components within the SYMO 3000 system, all present and future applications can be covered with maximum freedom during planning and execution. All components within the SYMO 3000 system can be combined at random and each component can be exchanged, modified or upgraded at any time. Locking plans can be modified easily and at minimum costs. Only the cylinder core is replaced (without tools), the lock and the piece of furniture remain untouched. One lock for all cases SYMO 3000 offers the whole range of locking technology for furniture: From rim locks to inlaid locks, from espagnolette locks to central locking systems, from glass door locks to roller shutter locks. All components can be combined at random. In order to cover any desire conceivable today and in the future, the SYMO 3000 is constantly developed and extended by new types of locks. Efficient furniture production Since the lock and the cylinder core are separated, the locks can be pre-mounted in the furniture and are fully functional through their protective caps. The protective caps can be replaced easily and without tools by the desired removable core cylinders at any time. The furniture can be produced independently from its future use and from the required locking plans, and can be equipped with the desired locks. The result is efficient mass production. The individual locks can be integrated into the locking plan by inserting the removable cores at any time, even after the furniture is set up. Locking plan - simple and easy SYMO 3000 enables setting up simple as well as highly complex master key locking systems. The locking plan is put into practice by simply inserting the cylinder cores at any time independent of the production, delivery, or set up of the furniture. In addition, the locking plan can also be modified and extended at any time. Every modification can be implemented easily and economically by exchanging the SYMO 3000 cylinder cores. 497

8 SYMO 3000 Locking System Information Plate cylinder or pin-tumbler cylinder? With the SYMO 3000 locking system, you have a choice between plate cylinders and pin-tumbler cylinders. Plate cylinder The plate cylinder removable cores of the SYMO 3000 system offer a simple and economical solution with the convenience of removable cylinders. The plate cylinder is available with up to 3,000 different key changes and the suitable master keys. Removable core cylinders mounted without tools Tools are not required for inserting and removing the cylinder cores, which can also be done at any time after the locks have been installed. The cylinder core can only be inserted or taken out when the lock is in an unlocked position. Do not treat the cylinder cores with graphite. 81 Dialock Furniture Locking System Dialock in Furniture and Casework The convenient and safe locking system from Häfele. Storing files and valuables safely is a prime challenge to a modern reliable locking system. With the DIALOCK furniture locking system, drawers, compartments, shutters, etc. are locked electromagnetically. The individual locking units are controlled by a central component the Dialock Furniture Terminal (DFT). (DFT) meets all requirements for convenient electronic locking. Different levels of expansion are feasible so that every planner has optimum design freedom. The advantages ( recore ) Centralized opening and locking of complete cabinet systems. If a Key ( electronic key ) is lost, the locking authorization can be withdrawn without having to replace locks on all the pieces of furniture. The DIALOCK locking system can be extended to entrance doors, offices, or buildings without any problems or changes to the locking units or the (DFT). The User Key can be reprogrammed and reused. Specialized consultants are available for further levels of expansion, such as facility management with time and attendance. The components The DIALOCK furniture locking system consists of the following components: Dialock Furniture Terminal (DFT) with antenna DFANT DIALOCK Electronic Key set Electric Furniture Lock (EFL) Distribution block or output extender Dialock Furniture Terminal (DFT) with antenna DFANT The Dialock Furniture Terminal (DFT) is suitable for concealed installation. Dialock Furniture Locking System allows implementing solutions with electric furniture locks (EFL) either keyed alike or keyed differently. For the keyed alike solution, a maximum of 6 locks can be connected via the distribution block. This solution can be extended to a maximum of 11 locks with an additional distribution block. Output Extender (OE) For the solution with keyed differently application, the output extender OE is used. A maximum of 8 locks can be connected to the output extender. Each lock can then be assigned locking authorization to individual keys or groups of keys.
