2 0 Electromechanical Door Operator General Information The Lockwood 0 Swing Door Operator is an electro-hydraulic operator designed for a wide variety of applications. It is suitable for almost all types of external and internal swing doors and has been developed to cope with tough conditions. The operator can be mounted on either side of the door for pull or push action and is suitable for single or double doors fitted with butt hinges or pivots. Suitable for disabled access, nursing homes and hospital corridors - where the requirements are for silence, flexible operation and reliability - as it is for department stores, banks, hotels, etc. Opening When an opening impulse is received by the control unit, the motor starts and the hydraulic unit rotates the drive shaft and arm system (door) with high speed towards the open position. Before reaching the fully open position, the speed is reduced to low speed. The door stops, and the motor rotation ceases when the selected door opening angle is reached. This open position is held by the hydraulic valve. Closing The spring closing starts when the hold-open time has run out. Before reaching the fully closed position, the speed is reduced to low speed, which will be kept until the door is completely closed. The door is held closed by spring power. to overcome the resistance of a striking plate, the lock kick can be adjusted to required level. 7 500 Swing Door Operator General Information The Lockwood 500 swing door operator has been designed for most internal door applications. The small discrete form factor allows the 500 to be installed on more doors than its larger counterpart. The unit can be installed to kg (push) or 60kg (pull) doors. The virtually silent electro mechanical operator offers variable opening and closing speeds, allowing the 500 to efficiently open doors without hitting unnecessary obstacles. The operator can be opened with a radar, card reader or push buttons. Further more, the intelligent Push & Go feature can sense that you are manually trying to push or pull the door and the operator will automatically assist you in opening the door and automatically close the door after a predetermined time.
